the first shop I ever walked in to and one that I have frequently returned to. i like the staff that is upfront, honest, nice and helpful. anytime i want a great deal and a good price without worrying about quality, i come to this place.
Being new to checking out dispensaries, New Vansterdam was a bit overwhelming at first, but coming in early in the day I was easily able to be helped by the knowledgeable staff who was able to help me make some good selections, without pushing their preferences which I had at some of the other dispensaries. Once I got acquainted with the menu, being able to look things up was a breeze and made talking about the buds much more enjoyable in my opinion
Prices are pretty high compared to the rest of the places I've been in Washington but they have fantastic service and great products. Will definitely be buying here again.

This place is super spendy but they have some good quality. Perma frost was prob the best ive ever smoked..... the staff is pretty nice, some of the people in there could probably be replaced. atmosphere in the place is alright, but i could see if you were new and didn't know what to do, that it might be over whelming or uncomfortable
I'm glad Portland is rec now so I don't have to rely on New Vansterdam. RIP OFF!!!
do NOT trust their leafly menu. theyll straight up bait & switch you. they advertise strains at lower prices than they are in store, then tell you theyve never carried anything in that pricerange. on top of that, it feels like a fast food atmosphere, minus the fast. worst of all, you dont even get to see the flower you are purchasing until youve been rung up and ushered toward the door. will not be returning.
much better atmosphere than the competition out here. Price is pretty off tho, which has ended my business with them, unfortunately.
I went in here for the first time and instantly loved the atmosphere. The staff is great, friendly and very knowledgeable! I have a medical card and I'll still make trips to this despensory!

Well they have nothing out to actually look out, prices are horrible at best,all the people were busy, when asked to look at they shove a stupid menu at me like I'm gonna pick by a name instead of wanting to look at the quality....never come here again
Great, friendly, knowledgable staff. When they do have product, it flies off the shelves due to the quality. I've read here and other reviews of this shop, and keep seeing the words "medicine, and donation". People, this is a recreational shop. They're not allowed by law to discuss medical benefits of cannabis. And it's a sale, not a donation. I suspect that as more growers products become available, prices will come down. This is the end of prohibition, and will take longer than a month to settle. I'll be back as often as possible! Thanks for all you're doing N.V.!
I paid $128 for an eighth ounce of "Super Skunk", which was one of their most highly priced buds. It should be closer to $40 but I thought of it as a donation to help keep these new legal weed businesses from failing. Eventually the price should drop to a reasonable level. However, this Super Skunk I bought was not that good. I've been smoking MJ for over 35 years and it's pretty weak. It smells good and looks good and gets your fingers sticky but the high is like midgrade or Mexican brickweed. Since it's the first time I bought from them I can't say their weed sucks but so far it does.
Product is very weak. Extreme rip off. NEVER returning.
This is the original greedweed store in Wa.--they've gouged since 7/14. May the Oregon rec weed at 1/3-1/2 the price put these creeps outta business. $400 ounces? 'Nuff said
New Vansterdam is a classy establishment. They blend quality bud and fantastic customer service for a truly incredible experience. I suggest their blue dream from Cannaman Farms if you get the chance.
Visited not long after they opened. Sparse furnishings and product. Already many strains sold out but I did pick up some expensive legal weed. $44 for 2 grams seemed to be average price of what's left. Looks like they have plans to carry much more in the future so I'll return again.
I might know this just had started business just couple weeks ago. But hopefully to know and hear that they will have more option to pick from. Since, pitbull, was good. I'd like something better.
Great place and super service
So far so good. Just got back from there with my first purchase. Unfortunately they only had one strain left. Luckily it was indica dominant, which is what I was looking for. Everybody was very friendly. I got the Opal OG Kush and while it doesn't taste all that great I'm really liking the high!
