Let's get right to it. I've been to this location three times now. Twice I've purchased flower, once I left because there wasn't any Top Shelf product. And I only mess with Top Shelf product. With a heavy rotation of different strands, it's common to find a new strand at this place ever other day or so, with an option of about 6 indoor strains and 6 outdoor strands. Quality: Hit and miss. With that being said, if you happen to come in to this place at the right time, you can luck out and come across two, or even three Top Shelf strands. But be ready to pay $13/g (Really? Really?...) Atmosphere: The atmosphere is here strange. The location is wayyy to big for the business. You walk though a super long long, uncomfortable entry way on your way to the ID checker as she stands behind the register staring at you. There's another gigantic "waiting room" you pass through before you gain entry into the main area of the dispensary. Your ID gets checked twice. Once in the front, and again before you purchase. Note: if you're a first time visitor be prepared to give up your personal information. I can't remember which, but beyond just asking for your name, the ID checker asks for your address or your email address, I can't remember which. I remember asking if I could opt out of giving them that information, but it was "required," so like everyone else, I just said **** it. Cool notes: they let you open jars, inspect nugs under a microscope, and even let you mix bags (e.g. you can get .6 of one strain and .4 of another for the price of 1 gram). The budtenders are legit. They know their stuff, are really friendly, and don't completely come off as burnouts. So overall, the quality is hit and miss, but when it's hit, it's Top Shelf. The service is up to par, but the atmosphere is awkward and uncomfortable. Large spaces. No music. Dark lighting. Which is all unfortunate, since perhaps the most useful thing about rec dispensaries is avoiding the awkward uncomfortableness of your neighborhood dealer. Right?
The best dispensary in the Medford, Phoenix area hands down! The best quality buds no more than $13gm. I love the 4 for $40 Fridays and Sunday Funday $10 gms. Super awesome friendly service.
I was looking for a different place that apparently isn't there anymore, so I stopped at Fireside. They occupy an enormous space, 99% of which is empty. In the first room, you sign a release form (WTF) about the dog they have on premises (amateur hour). Then you walk through a second giant empty room to get to the actual sales room, 99% of which is again empty, but that's when you see the dog - it's a mastiff being passed off as a therapy dog (pet peeve of mine). They had a small selection of outdoor bud. I chose the Afgoo, but it was not without reservations - in the jar, some of the buds were dark purple while some were a pale yellow-green. I guess the budtender thought this was my first time seeing a jar of pot so he told me some mumbo-jumbo about light. I understand why some of the buds coming off the same plant will look different; but what are the ugly ones doing in your jar, player. Anyway, I got a gram for $8. It came in the, shall we say girthiest plastic pill-bottle I've ever gotten for a gram. Then I got the hell out of there, because I did not care for the vibe I was getting off of the people. The bud itself was disappointing. I didn't get very high and it wore off after two hours. The Afgoo was the crystalliest of the outdoors and the purple caught my eye which is why I went with it, but in retrospect I wish I'd tried something else.
I love the large layout, gives for plenty of time to browse the beautiful selection of flower and concentrates. A regular for sure.

The location is spacious. They have a big sweet therapy dog and refreshments offered at the beginning... thats cool. The bud tenders were super welcoming and friendly. I'll be back for sure. Prices are good and outdoor and indoor are shown on different shelves, Sativa and Indica on opposing ends. I like the layout.

Tomorrow will be my second visit to Fireside. Our first was several days before Oct 1.. Like many patients, we planned ahead figuring it would be a mess. I, personally, don't think it's fair to judge this or any dispensary according to what happened in the first few days after legalization. Our first visit we were helped by a very knowledgeable guy. We are long-time users and knew what we wanted but he talked me into a trying a 1/2grm on a few different kinds. I'm glad he did. I'm heading back tomorrow to get a supply of two of them. I was astonished at how it worked on my pain. So, yeah, I would and will recommend these guys. ps The only thing I would suggest to all dispensaries is there is no place (usually) to sit while we wait to get our stuff put together. My legs are killing me. Can I please have a chair? Thanks :)
Fireside continues to deliver some of the highest quality cannabis and cannabis service in the valley. Easily the best selection of quality indoor, and best prices for high quality outdoor (seriously, they have outdoor here for $8 a gram that has been $12 at other shops). Love this place, keep up the good work. And if you have any questions on dabs or dabbing ask for Ben, most knowledgeable budtender in the valley when it comes to concentrates.

Wow! What a great shop! First off, I love that they have a discount for us Vets, and second I absolutely adore their selection. Easily best indoor selection in the valley. Most shops I've been to have two, maybe three top quality strains. But here all the indoor strains (there were about ten) were incredible. Also their outdoor was significantly cheaper then all the other shops I've been to (the animal cookies and purple trainwreck were 4 to 2 dollars cheaper per gram here, versus other shops). Great shop, and a great experience. The customer service was also top, top notch. Very well educated staff. Well worth checking out.
When I think about what to look for when choosing a dispensary Fireside immediately comes to mind. The friendly and knowledgeable staff are more than suited to be of service to any customer. Ranging from the experienced smoker looking for something to suit their taste or the first timer looking for fun informative experience. They have wonderful selection for both the medical and recreational customer I find to be of highest quality no matter the price range. So if you you like friendly people and good medicine I highly recommend them as a frequent and satisfied customer myself.
Great customer service. Beth went above and beyond in helping find the strain and taste I was looking for, even one that was not in sight. The suggestions were right on point with my wants, some even becoming a must have flavor in the box! The quality of flowers, as a whole, amazing. The overall environment is modern and professional, yet relaxed and inviting. Thank you guys! Will be back again!
prices are to high. 13 a g for medical is just to high. I like the shop itself and the staff were all very cool and good people. Quality was very good on the franks gift I bought. Prices are just to high for me but I will probly be back on the 4 for 40 day
The dispensary is swank and the bud is dank. Great selection of bud and knowledgeable staff. Diesel is a real beaut.

I went on a tour of every dispensary from Ashland to Gold Hill, and this had an interesting mix of quality. Parking is plentiful and discreet, and they are located across the street from a Jack in the Box which is kind of funny. The space is very large, such that it creates an impression on anyone who enters. There is a long walk from the entrance to the check in desk. Inside the walls are painted dark colors and things are tastefully arranged. It feels like all it needs are some flashing lights and a hot DJ to turn the place into an upscale nightclub where everyone drinks champagne. There are two lines at the check in desk, one for medical, and one for recreational. Both staff are professional and courteous. Their service is thorough, and they are the only dispensary I've found which makes you sign an additional form swearing that if you choose to buy any of their product it is not in order to supply someone underage etc. I was frankly surprised more dispensaries hadn't taken precautions like this. From there you are let through a door into an overabundance of empty space, similarly decorated. They then lead you to another door and here, you are finally granted entry. Things are somewhat darker inside and you walk toward the back to a long glass counter which is separated by a velvet rope dividing medical and recreational customers. The staff seem knowledgeable enough and the selection is OK. They had one strain listed on leafly as Super Lemon Haze, that turned out to be Super Lemon Daze. I don't know what the difference is, but it did seem like kind of a poor oversight. Overall I would give them a low B. I wish they had better selection and a better use for all of their empty space.

Very welcoming upon the entrance, amazing ambience, extremely helpful/friendly employees, and high quality bud. Easily one of the best, if not the best dispensary in town.
