I have been here many times since they were a gifting shop. At time prior to the cannabis landscape shifting in DC what really impressed me is they lab tested all their products, they were just as diligent with testing prior to become a fully licensed medical dispensary. You’re dealing with principled owners who don’t cut costs for quality. Really recommend giving them a chance!

They have a really great selection, there's always something to try. Panama Red (sativa) is currently my go to. The staff is is knowledgeable, and been really helpful, just awesome.

I love the dispensary, but I would highly not recommend the pink fox pumpkin spice gummies. They taste like death. Nobody should ever eat this ever. I wouldn’t even recommend it to my worst enemy. OK maybe I would. But they are really bad. They should not even be sold in the store. Everything else about the dispensary wonderful.

I’m visiting from Canada for a work convention and stopped by High Demand near Eastern Market after seeing all the great reviews, and they definitely lived up to the hype. Hassane, one of the budtenders, recommended Alt Sol’s Sour Cantaloupe, a sativa-leaning strain that delivers an energizing, clear-headed, and mood-lifting high with a sweet, fruity aroma. It was perfect for keeping me upbeat and focused throughout long conference days without the jitters. The staff were genuinely welcoming, took their time to explain terpene profiles and effects, and the shop itself is super clean and easy to get to. Great pricing, quick service, and a loyalty program that actually gives back; this spot easily became my go-to whenever I’m in D.C.

Love this place, small business, owners there every day! Good salt of the earth people. Feels like a barbershop in there, good family vibes! Reminds me of business in the 90’s and 2000s. Product is fire! They keep a wide menu, my favorites are hash burger, sour Candylope, Panama red and Ridgeline Lantz

Went to Paraiso for brunch, ask the bartender where I could get some fire weed. He pointed across the street. In Dc they require you to sign up and pay 10 bucks for a non resident pass to buy. They did all that for me, took about 5 minutes. The budtenders Dina and John were really knowledgeable and engaging, not just about the flower but gave me some insight on the Dc weed scene! Highly recommend 5/5!

Today was my first day coking to this dispensary and I love it they had exactly what I wanted and the guy who helped me was friendly and helpful and patient with me cause I was confused on what I want but I ended up getting gelato cake cause I wanted to try it and I loved and the best experience that’s far… I’ll recommend and they have a loyalty program

Loved the vibe, everybody is so friendly. The medical process in DC is a little tedious compared to other places but you can self certify in a couple minutes. They handles the entire sign up process for me and got me in the door in maybe 5-6 minutes. Very welcoming, salt of the earth people, i checked the prices of dispensaries near by and they have by far the best pricing.

High Demand is my favorite dispensary in DC. The staff is always friendly, and their rewards program is the best — the points add up fast and actually save you money. They also have great daily specials that keep me coming back.
