Higher Leaf - Kirkland

Convenient location, horrible service and prices. These budtenders take the cake for attitude. They are generally condescending and short, and know very little about the product other than the usual "this will make you lazy , this will make you creative" nonsense. They used to have good Doc Croc specials but the Tuesday special is not worth going in for. Too much bad weed to liquidate. The pricing all ends in &.99, okay you're customers aren't stupid guys. Maybe include tax in the price, that would actually be helpful. Brought my mom in here, she needed an edible to help with sleep and the guys said they don't have anything like that. You carry a "sleep tincture" buddy. Another sad story for us smokers on the Eastside.

This is a great shop, with great people. They are always super helpful, with honest and sincere opinions. They understand their clientele and help each customer according to their specific needs. I'm a working mother that does not have tons of money to be dropping at the weed store, they are always accurate and honest with their suggestions and never try to up-sell me. Also, the fact that they have a discount section where I can still get 4g for $40 of premium marijuana is amazing. Anyways, these guys are super knowledgeable, super kind, with great selection and amazing prices.

These guys have sold me the wrong strain twice. The first time I noticed right away, fortunately, but the second time I didn't notice for several days, so I was stuck with something I didn't want. Check the labels carefully with these guys, and don't assume that what you asked for is what they handed you.

This is my go to store for the selection and prices. Also, friendly staff and well run. You never wait long and while you do you can look at the daily menu. Great selection with both high end bud and great deals. You can always get at least 4 to 8 different strains for $8-12 a gram. And the low price doesn't reflect low Thc. You can get very high quality for the great prices.

Quality of their bud is just terrible. Over-priced. Just because pot it legal doesn't mean its all created equal! Beware.

I don't understand all the bad reviews. I've been to a few shops in the area and this one is comparable. Each time I've been in, the person checking id has been super friendly. The budtenders are always polite. Last time I went in, the guy helping me was really nice. I usually know what I want before I talk to a budtender, so it's usually a pretty simple transaction. The menu on their website seems up to date. They've always had what I've wanted. They sell honey creek products, which are a bit more expensive but worth it. They also have a good variety of "discount bud" that's usually in the $10-12/g range. A few I've tried have been good, others not so much. Plenty of parking and I've never had to wait more than a couple minutes to make my purchase. This is a no-frills kinda place, in my opinion. They don't go above and beyond, but they get the job done.

Not a huge fan of this location but I will give them time. It seems unorganized and not a very clean or inviting location. It's right on willows road at a super busy intersection and the store is attached to the bottom floor of an apartment building, which seems old/rundown. It's close to work so an easy stop on the way home but for now, I'll continue to get green at further locations. They did not seem to have enough inventory selection and there is virtually nothing to see here. This store is just a pick up and go. It feels like a drive thru fast food spot. I have made 2 stops here and the cartridge I bought was fine but I was not impressed with the flower I bought as it was very dry and packaged WAY before my purchase date. I wouldn't recommend this place to an afficiando but it gets the job done. I'll stop in for a quick stop if I can't reach my other stores, but that's about it.

This is my go-to. A little farther to drive for me, but worth it. The ATM fee is lower than any place I've been to. Employees always seem happy and relaxed.

Outside leaves something to be desired, but once inside you're in cannabis heaven!

Where do I begin? I first started going here when they first opened, and even though the prices were a little high, I didn't mind because of the excellent customer service. After going in last month, I noticed something was a little "off". A couple of my favorite budtenders weren't there anymore and after going back this past weekend I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN. The bud is crappy, the customer service is lame as if they seriously don't care anymore. When I asked what happened to Marcus, I got the impression that he was "phased" out for another guy who seems to be taking that store in a different direction. It's too bad too because the first few months were awesome, now they're just like every other store that thinks we'll just smoke whatever they put in the store. We do know when quality is bad, we do know when something's different. I don't care if they ever get it back together, I won't be going in there anymore.

Great location, easy to get to and plenty of parking. Shop is simple, looks like a smoke shop. The staff was really nice, from the door greater to the budtender. When I asked for something for my migraines, she went online and dos a quick search and suggested a couple items on the menu. They really do need to update their menus though. Covered in cheap plastic restaurant menu covers and everything ending in .99 makes the place feel like a cheap Denny's.

The staff (minus one rude employee who I haven't seen since) always makes me feel welcome and they seem happy to be there. Seriously though, they make you feel appreciated as a customer. One of the guys who checks IDs (he's the tall guy usually there in the evenings) is awesome! Overall, they have been very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The various types of products- especially staff recommendations- I have tried have been excellent. I will continue to shop at this location as long as the great customer service continues. :)

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They usually have a lot of Phat Panda and Sasquatch Cannabis Company stuff so that is dope. Boutique style pot store. Price is on the high side, but I expect that in Kirkland.

Budtender was extremely kind and listened to my story before suggesting a strain to try. I really needed help sleeping and the Blackberry Indica worked! Thank you Higher Leaf!

I stopped going here several months ago because they are expensive, don't update their menu and lack in the customer service department.

Very nice shop. Clean and well organized. Bud tenders are fairly knowledgeable. A bit more expensive though.

This was the first recreational store I ever stepped foot in. I love this boutique! Marcus was my original budtender and he was incredibly friendly and super helpful. Even as time went on and I discovered new stores, I still visit once or twice a month for the great customer service.

One of the more expensive locations on the Eastside. Unlike other shops in the area they do not include sales tax in their prices, which makes their pricing more expensive than it appears. On top of that, they use a $XX.99 pricing model as another method to appear cheaper than they actually are. Even after many customers complain about this pricing model they refuse to change it. So, unless Higher Leaf proves it actually cares what their customers think, I'd recommend spending your money elsewhere.

This place really sets the bar high in customer service for other vendors like their own. You walk in and employees are themselves with extensive knowledge of their product. Just by the atmosphere of the store, you can tell it's laid back with just the right amount of class. This place is pretty fresh. Tucked away on the outskirts of Kirkland, It's a smaller location, but it's a "boutique," so the quaintness is part of the whole atmosphere. The bud is bud. They've recently added some cheaper farms to their menu, but they've always had consistently good product for the smoker who knows his or her stuff. Where this place really succeeds is in the knowledge of the staff. You will learn something when you talk to one of their budtenders. Definitely the smartest staff I've talked to at a shop. Overall, this place is setting its' own niche and, while the cheaper farms might be a misstep, should be considered a unique location in Washington's rapidly growing recreational shops industry.

I am blown away by the fact that I can buy weed legally, safely, AND have found a location that is so welcoming that makes the purchase that much more sweet. Nick is the coolest dude with great knowledge and love for this art. Gabe is awesome too and went the extra mile to help me purchase exactly what I wanted. In my 20+ years actively surfing the net, I have only once taken time to do a review -- and that was for a once-in-a-lifetime authentic Samurai interactive experience in Kyoto Japan. So hats off to Higher Leaf, the only place where I now look forward to visiting each week to fill my herb needs.

I've only been to a few rec shops in wa, but this has hands down been my favorite. Laid back atmosphere, helpful staff, decent prices. I live a block away from a rec. shop, but will be traveling 20 min to this place again because it's just that much better.

I went to this store based on the Deals listed here on Leafly. When I got to the store, what I came for wasn't actually on special, but two other strains, and no pre-roll. If there had been a date on the Deal page as to what day that applied to, I'd not have wasted a trip. The clerk told me, "Oh, yeah, that was probably for last week. Sorry." Otherwise the clerk was perfectly fine and seemed to know the product. I just hate wasting my time.

When marijuana meets class, you get this place. When I heard the term "marijuana boutique" I went in with expectations of over price bud to justify, pretty much the opposite. I understand it's a rec shop and not a med place so I knew gram prices were going to be high but after checking out a few other legal places this place measures up in price and in some cases better prices per gram. Ended up being sold a pre roll called Pot o Gold a St. Patty's day themed joint by an authentic Irish man how crazy is that? The place is a little small but the informative one on one you get with each bud tender makes me feel more inclusive with their crew. Being new to the state and them being new as well, this will be my new staple place.
