LivWell Trinidad opened its doors in January of 2015. While it currently houses our 11th recreational marijuana dispensary in Colorado, the building, itself, originally operated as the Monte Cristo Saloon, one of the oldest and most iconic features of this beautiful Southwest Colorado town. As the Gateway to the West, Trinidad saw some of the most famous figures from our country's Wild West days, including the likes of Wyatt and Virgil Earp, Doc Holliday, and Tom "Black Jack" Ketchum. And the Monte Cristo Saloon likely catered to many of these infamous individuals.
One of the most distinctive features of this Trinidad cannabis dispensary is the 100+ year old Tiger Cherry wood bar, which was shipped over from Italy in 1906, assembled in New York, and sent by train to the Monte Cristo Saloon, where it has lived ever since. Although you can no longer sip whiskey while seated at this renowned counter top, you can peruse our wide selection of marijuana glass and accessories as you shop for you preferred cannabis products.
Whether you're a local looking to find the best flower, concentrates, edibles, and accessories in town, or a tourist seeking out the best that Colorado's marijuana industry has to offer, LivWell Trinidad is the perfect recreational marijuana dispensary for you. “LivWell is the first Rec shop I went to. I have visited their Cortez shop several time and was impressed. Went to their Trinidad shop last trip and it was a little different... budtenders are friendly & knowledgeable but service was a little slow. I like their Good Medicine, price is good and it works for this old mans aches and pains! My only complaint is it is prepackaged and the last time it seemed a little dry and maybe a little old because it was harsh to the throat. Their prices are competitive and with their rewards program & Veterans discount you can get some good deals. One of the best places in Trinidad to get under $100 ounces. I will be back.”
