Proper Cannabis - South County

Do NOT use their Delivery Service. I'm four feet from my front door and made sure to make myself completely available for the entire delivery time. About half-way into my wait time, my order is cancelled. I called the location and the "delivery driver" called me back. The "delivery driver" proceeded to gaslight me saying that they knocked three times, the last time quite loudly. There was never a knock. I attempted to express this and was immediately called a liar. He then attempted to embellish his conversation by saying a woman's voice screamed out saying to go away. I'm the only person here and I'm a dude. I was waiting patiently the entire time. No message was sent to my phone indicating it was out for delivery. No call was attempted when they supposedly didn't get a response from knocking. Disgusting customer service and completely unacceptable first impression. Are your "delivery drivers" trained to call customers liars and gaslight them with events that never happened? Will never shop with Proper again. Wish I could leave a 0 star. tl;dr They knocked on the wrong door... never attempted to contact me... cancelled my order... then gaslit me and called me a liar.

I have been to many dispensaries around the State of Missouri and through out the conuntry. The people at Proper South County are the nicest people ever. They are super helpful, very knowledgeable on the product, and are very good on getting you in and out the door with the product you want. This will be my new go to dispensary when I’m home in St. Louis.

Awesome. From the moment I walked in... I had a small issue, they sorted it out. Everyone all the way through top notch. From getting greeted to the people at the registers. All awesome. Right off the bat I like this place better than any other ones I have been to in Illinois. You guys could get higher % flower but the quality was right on...not dry... perps. And the Leafly website is straight up listing insanely incorrect data... But other than that all good... aloha.

I just really can’t say enough GREAT things about this location (South County) the people you have working there they are TRULY the BEST they are not only helpful but they DO ACTUALLY CARE they help guide you and also become FRIENDS just THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for everything you all have done for me. YOU ALL are truly a blessing!!!!

Needs to cater to both ends of the economic spectrum. It was not an issue until this last month. There were untrimmed or small bud options available for reasonable prices, I have been looking each day for the past 3 weeks, hoping those reasonable options re-appear before I am forced to go back to the black market. I am hoping this is due to the 4th of July holiday and things will return to how they were.

I LOVE Proper! Everything about this place is amazing. I always tell people it’s like an Apple Store for weed. The atmosphere is so good that I sometimes just wanna go up there and hang out. They have a bunch of books about Mary Jane to read while you wait and the bathroom is very nice. Andrea at the front counter is fantastic and makes everyone feel welcome and comfortable. I should invite her to thanksgiving! Anyway everyone who works here is great and I have never had any issues with the place. They take very good care of the customers. As far as the product goes it is top tier cannabis! I’ve never gotten anything I haven’t liked and I love using my rewards to save up and try something new that I normally wouldn’t get. Like honeybee gummies! My favorite is the high potency Black Cherry Cola ones. They are delicious and hit just right. I have been to every dispo in and around south county and there is something special about Proper, there is no arguing that fact. If you have made it this far into my rant you should go check it out. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

I'm not a weed snob to you, I mean I don't look down on you or think you have no ideas. I have lived in Colorado and Oregon for a number of years and have smoked California stuff, from a few of those dispensaries, but at least I for sure know Colorado and Oregon cannabis markets. I've sampled Illinois before I had my card here. Proper is the best bud here. Probably in both states, although gr has at times a pretty good thing going. It's not all created equally. Less is more dont you know! Chem 91 and Ghost were both great iterations you all, and one batch of golden goat, God I'm glad I tried it. the arc also, was fire last I had it at 27.xxx thc-a. Keep up the good work. And death star, og Tahoe, Tahoe alien, orange-cookies or whatever that was dont play coy, alternative organics is weilding up there. Anyway, ahh! superb product

As a first time visitor I placed my order online and within 15 minutes was notified that my order was available for pick-up. I was greeted by a friendly and efficient staff. At that time there were no lines, which is a big plus. I purchased multiple eighths (3.5g containers) of flower. Each of the containers was filled with solidly-formed, chunky, and impressively BIG buds. Literally, maybe three to four, maybe five buds per 1/8th. NO popcorn or shake at all. The product was top-notch, A+ cannabis. A gram of Indica Concentrate was a nicely-formed dollop with immediate and amazing effects. Their prices are actually the lowest around the greater St. Louis area and into Illinois. (Their prices for FLOWER, not so much on Concentrates. I can't comment upon edibles, accessories, et al, as I didn't buy any. My only complaint was that as a first-time user I received a 20% discount off immediately, but couldn't claim an additional 10% off as a retired veteran. Otherwise, although I haven't visited ALL the South County dispensaries, I would recommend this place to anyone. I'm actually going to place an order right now! ;-)

I just made my first visit to a Missouri dispensary and this place was everything I hoped for. I was helped by Laura and she was very knowledgeable and got me the flower I needed. I was impressed by the quality and everyone there that I came in contact with. Cool shop.

I truly believe that Proper is the elite dispensary in the region. They have a tremendous amount of experience that leads to them having superior product compared to some other dispensaries. Their quality can be attested with the fact that their product is sold by numerous other dispensaries. I enjoyed talking with Jax who helped me decide on my first purchase. With the great products, helpful employees, and a welcoming atmosphere... I wouldn't rate Proper anything less than 5 stars.
