I’ve been a long time shopper at River City. The Budtenders used to know their stuff, but in the last couple of years this place has gone downhill. They employ twenty-something’s who just want to make the sale and know nothing about the strains they’re selling. I’ve been shopping there less and less hoping it will get better or I’ll stumble upon someone who knows their shit. So far…. Crap. Today, I asked for an indica and a sativa pre-roll pack and when I got home, I looked up the strains and both are indica. I will never go back. Pity. This place is 5 minutes from my house.

For about the past five years, this has been the only dispensary I visit. I December it seems the business had a complete turnover...owners, staff, the works. The quality of flower has gone downhill as well. I never see my favorite farms labeled on the jars anymore. With the exception of Rich, the staff have limited knowledge about what they are selling. All the discount days have been changed. Why? It's just frustrating to regulars. On bulk flower discount day (now Friday) I paid the most I have paid for an ounce in years. It also didn't help that I tell the girl behind the counter that an ounce is 28 grams, not 26. I used to love going to River City. Now I just go because it's close by, then I go home and pout.

Been going here almost a year now every Saturday. Love this place and the people behind the counter, they make every trip a fun experience. My main reason for going here as opposed to somewhere closer to where I live was very much the 10% off on Saturdays but as of this past Saturday(9/5/20) they've decided to stop doing that promotion. I'm on limited income and rely on the discount to be able to afford my purchases so sadly I will now be having to shop elsewhere. If you aren't on a budget this place is definitely the place to go!

Prior to you discontinuing your on line menu I purchased from you on a regular basis. However, I have stopped patronizing your establishment due to the fact that I am not inclined to drive to your dispensary on the off change that you will have something that I want. Please join many of your competitors and offer a menu.

Always a great experience when I stop in. This is my fave spot to come grab my essential goodies when I come up to visit! Fun, friendly and entertaining staff. Rick was quite humorous during my last visit, very helpful and recommended some great flower. I will be visiting again very soon!!

I've been shopping here exclusively for 5 years.. in the last month supply has been terrible and the new staffers have no knowledge of the products.. unlike the budtenders usually there.. not sure what's happened but please go back to how it was before.. shopping somewhere else now

Best discounts, best selection in the area, best customer service! Go here after you've seen the rest, they will not disappoint! Bring exit bag for extra discount! Daily deals! I have to say the only complaint I have are the cig smokers who work here and try to handle products with stinky cigarette hands. Also they leave the concentrate jars open for view, the smell is almost non-existent unless they open a fresh one to show ya :( that's easy to turn around for you guys!

Best bud in Josephine county and Jackson County! I have been stuck with crap bud for a year now. I almost gave up faith that there was any dispensaries left that didn't sell old product and early cut flower! I just wish they didn't run out of OG 18. I ended up picking up blue dream and dogwalker which was bomb and gave me a pretty good sleep. But would rather a strain specifically for sleep like Kosher Kush or Og 18 with lots of amber trichomes! Anyway still the best bud I tried so far in southern oregon!

I love this place! I come here almost every other day! I appreciate the employees so much!! They all really care about their products and their customers..I refuse to shop anywhere else in grants pass!!!! Thank you river city for always being sweet and keeping me stoned!!
