Overpriced

I had a really disappointing experience at Sunnyside Cannabis in South Beloit. The customer service was terrible—staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful, making the whole visit feel rushed and unwelcoming. Instead of assisting with product recommendations or answering questions, they barely engaged, which was frustrating. The product quality also left a lot to be desired. I purchased a few different items, and none of them lived up to expectations. Some seemed stale, others had a weak effect, and overall, the consistency just wasn't there. For the high prices they charge, I expected far better quality. Speaking of pricing—it's completely unreasonable. Compared to other dispensaries in the area, Sunnyside’s prices are way too high for what you get. There are much better options nearby where you can find superior products, better deals, and friendlier service. I won’t be coming back and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for good cannabis products and a positive shopping experience.

This is awful ! Got tied up at work and can't get away until 10 pm. Just want to pick up my order tomorrow afternoon instead of tonight ! What's wrong with that ?

I Don't Know How They Are Even In Business The Way They Treat There Customers It's Sad They Will Have Over 10 Employees But Will Only Have 4 Cashier's Open With The Line Backed Up In The Other Waiting Room. They Don't Give You Type Of Compensation For The Joke Of A Time They Are So Called Helping Customers. I Can't Wait Until There Is A New Dispensary So Myself And Everyone Else Can Actually Get Treated With Dignity. I Mean The Employees Will Be Reading Books Before Helping Someone Get There Product. From Horrible Employees To Horrible Prices Look At Any Michigan Dispensary And They Have Cartridges For 10 Dollars And Ounces For 60 Sunnyside Should Be Ashamed Of Themselves!!!

This was my first time at a dispensary and this place was amazing. The iPad dude was super friendly helped me find something that was perfect, for a 1g northern lights cartridge and it’s amazing. Will definitely come back here again!!

Maybe if we leave as many nasty reviews for the South Beloit location, the owners might get a clue and up the rate we can get the **** out of their store and move on with our lives. They should just post on their website “We only have 4 cashiers today” and see how many say “Nah we’re good” because I bet it’s a lot. They’re so cooked once Evers legalizes it and they know it. So don’t expect them to change until they’re no longer the one option on the stateline.

WISCONSIN! Drive 10 minutes further south to Happy Cannabis, it's easier to get to from the interstate and they take appointments. If you have to wait, they HAVE CHAIRS and a LOUNGE!! You're not in a corral like cattle waiting for hours.

You have to give stars to make the comment. This has to be the worst place to ever go everything in there is over priced and old products the best places for your money would be the happy cannabis company or Maple Glen they have half gram for 28$ whole grams for 56$ it's cheaper when they run specials like they have now the flower is reasonable too

If you love incompetent businesses, and needlessly standing in line then Sunnyside Beloit is your jam. Seriously though, this place is complete BS. It's the closest to me, so I go. But as soon as something else opens SS is dead to me. I literally hate going here.

Bought a cart 1g ( Sour diesel Cart (Sativa)) Smoked it and it was An INDICA….,, More like hybrid…. Very disappointed

Great spot at a truck stop. The budtender / wellness advisor named Nickolas is amazing. He helped me while training a new hire (I think) and I hope the trainee can be as enthusiastic, kind, accommodating, and as excellent as Nickolas. I strongly dislike the tax on Illinois recreational - it is stealing using other words, but Nickolas makes that hit to the wallet much easier with his professionalism.

I have been coming here since they opened as it is the closest for me from WI...but they have gone down hill fast! The selection of flower SUCKS! Look at another dispensary named RISE and they have a wonderful selection. All the brands I liked Sunnyside no longer is stocking, like RYTHM or FIG FARMS! They have lost me as a customer, I would rather drive an extra hour to go to RISE for the bigger selection and the brands I love! You suck Sunnyside!

I’ve frequently this dispensary for a while. It’s the closest one nearby. I’ve been waiting on line in an unfinished room for over an hour as they take 12 people at a time. This building is huge. It’s massive. But whether you have an online order, your dropping a grand, or whatever, you’ll spend your whole night waiting to pick up your ONLINE order. Just total incompetence. Your systems will be down or your short staffed. This place has more cash running through it than a bank but can’t even serve all the customers trying to throw you money. A racket. Feasting on the poor.

I have been here several times. It was this visit that the order taker was very friendly and helpful, this had not been my experience before this visit. However the cashier's were downright unfriendly. They had such a negative vibe that I think I will not return to this location.

PIECE OF CRAP CORPORATE COMPANY! Store is supposed to close at 8 pm. At 7:35 pm their security guard says that they are closed, but that we can go to Rockford. Are you kidding me? Screw my time right? STOP making people wait 1 hour in line. STOP closing your store early because your understaffed. At least #$#$#$ put something on your website.

This place is fantastic, even when the parking lot’s fun, line out the door, they’re still on their game without sacrificing quality of service. Speaking of service though, Nickolas is literally the best ever: I’m so happy when I see him when I walk in that I hope the weed line gods are in my favor so that I can see him. He is just such a goodhearted, welcoming person that he just naturally cuts through any bad times or anxieties.

Never staffed properly. Bathrooms don’t work and they won’t let you use theirs after a long ride. Ordering systems, Merchant accounts, ATM’s,etc. always have something wrong with them. Long long long lines. Workers are very friendly. I always try to be cheery because they are probably having a worse time dealing with the incompetent leadership than the customers. It is easier taking an hour drive out of your way to avoid this dispensary. Hell, it was easier to purchase prior to legalization than this place. If you must go there, tip the workers it isn’t their fault.

I normally go to a different location but this one was closer. Being from out of town I was pretty excited before coming in. I found this location to have the most uncomfortable atmosphere ever. From the employee up front being bothered at me using my gun license (which is strange because tsa accepts it) so I then have to pull out my passport card, which has the same damn info…. Anywho there were random people purposely breathing down my neck in the line and I felt harassed. Due to the color of my skin I said nothing because because of the aforementioned, I would have been in the wrong, for NOTHING. The prices at this location are ridiculous. I know because I checked the others. Also is you take time out of your day to contact them to complain they don’t give a damn. They’ll send a generic email and go on as if nothing happened. Like you’re trash. I went back again, two days later for the same items and the young man behind the counter was the most pleasant I have experienced at any Sunnyside location. I would not recommend this location to anyone who is not Caucasian. I’m from Texas and I wanna advise y’all that it is free to be kind. I don’t give a damn what you all are selling.

The man who helped me was absolutely aMaZiNg, knowledgeable, thoughtful, experienced, genuine, helpful, kind and patient! TIM could not have done a better job with his recommendations and explanations. I am thoroughly impressed. THANK You, Sunnyside*! And THANK YOU, TIMMMAY!

Because of the proximity to the WI state line, this place is almost always busy. At 10:am on a Wednesday-no holiday or sports events coming- and there were already 100 people in line. If they have enough help it can move quickly, but don’t be in a rush here. OTOH, 8 minutes away on the interstate is The Happy Cannabis Co which is first-rate and rarely busy.
