Waave

I wrote a review of Waave about a year ago.At the time, I wrote that this was my go to spot. I live less than a mile from Waave. However, when their prices kept steadily rising. I began to look elsewhere for product! You'll like Waave if you're a novice toker, but if you're an experienced toker, this is not the place for you. The potency/price ratio is way out of whack! Not much bang for your buck!! Today (6/26/2025), Waave had a 1/8 of flower for $70 with a thc of only 27.52%.(L'Orange). When you compare prices with Greenpoint Wellness Center in Laurel, their highest thc product at 35.94% (motor breath) is $40, and that's not a sale price!!! Greenpoint had 23 products with over 30% thc, and none of them approached $70!!! Waave had only 9 products with the lowest price at $55! At Wellness, the medical discount is 25%, and the veteran discount is also 25% . It's just a better deal all the way around.The daily prices are simply lower than the Waave! The Wellness Center has a once a week 30% off of all product sale as well! Come on, Waave. I keep trying to like you, but you make it HARD! By the way, folks, I am in no way associated with the Laurel Wellness Center

Posted this review to google too, that's how awful they are: Low quality, and garbage location. The "budtenders" are equally worthless, unprofessional, and rude (except for 2 or 3 of them, which is sad). Whenever I entered and saw certain faces, I already knew I was going to get garbage service and regret coming in on that day. These budtenders will even trick you into buying a bad product for the sake of a sale and then the store refuses to refund you when you come back with the product unopened. Example, one lied to me about the percentage of a product, when I got home, and realized they lied and tried to go back to return the product (unopened) but the store refused and were incredibly rude about it. Even treating me like I was an idiot for taking a budtender's advice (shame on me for assuming that a person who works there would know more about a product than me). Completely awful practices at this location. I've stopped coming here altogether, and so have my friends (they also had similar experiences). I've stopped shopping here after a particularly bad incident and also because I realize that they're never gonna change, it's been like this since 2023. Don't go here, save your money. Most of the good places are in other counties, and it's funny because other counties sell the SAME STRAINS for way LESS. Other counties are way more professional and friendly too. This store is literally 5 minutes from my home, and I would rather drive 30+ minutes to go somewhere else. That should tell you everything about the quality of this place. 0/5

Very friendly staff

This store is excellent and makes the purchase of medicinal marijuana seamless. The workers are kind and it is a stress-free experience. I placed the order on line and received notification that it was ready to be picked up.

Really like it here. A bit far from home but if in the area, I always check to see what they have. Great customer service and of the product I've purchased, good quality. Would recommend and will purchase again if in the area.

This place is not for people who like to get treated well, the manager at this place is a racist who Carrie’s a chip on his shoulder if you are not caucasian…. this was one of my favorite places to go to until this manager got hired and started messing up the whole ambience and customer service feel of this place. Please do not be fooled by all the ratings because they were before this manager was hired this place is completely disrespectful to all the customers… and by allowing this manager, to be there, and have this type of attitude towards its customers, only shows the ambience of what this dispensary actually carries!!!

I always have a positive experience here. I’ve been here 3-4 times so far and everyone is very friendly/welcoming and helpful. Prices are reasonable and it’s near by where I live so super convenient too.

Aaliyah, the Bud-tender needs to be running that place. She’s so knowledgeable and friendly! I travel 35 mins to get my flower and other medicinal products!

• my guy today was a little distracted with the football game & his phone but that's understandable the day after christmas • they have become my go to for concentrates as they are killing the game with their buy 10 get the 11th free punch card & 30% off on sundaze • it took me a while to finally drop by, but since their concentrate menu has expanded, the other stores see considerably less of me •

This was my second visit and it was as enjoyable as the first. The personnel are friendly and knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable. Aaliyah helped me out today and was very knowledgeable about the various products and took time to explain things. Really appreciate that type of service.

This was my first time visiting my Waave as a new patient. Everyone was so welcoming from the front desk to the bus tenders in the back (shoutout to Nicole, Joe, and Alyiah). They had great deals and even more great deals for new patients (free pre roll and a free t shirt to wear on Wednesdays for additional discounts!). Happy to find this is my neighborhood store. I look forward to coming back in! Thanks!

This place has been my go-to for a while because they are quick and have a good selection. Super clean and friendly environment. Staff is knowledgeable and always offers fantastic recommendations. Never waited long, even during this peak hours. Would definitely recommend!

As a first-time customer, the staff was really helpful, informative and patient. My prescription to buy was inadvertently not signed off by my doctor, and they waited while I contacted him to finish the process. I was happy with their level of service and their product selection, and I will definitely be a repeat customer.

My sales person Thomas was very knowledgeable, professional and most of all he listen and answered all my concerns. I love the facility as well it was very clean and the wait time was not long at all.

This was my first time at this dispensary. There customer service is hand down the best. I was greeted by Emeril at the front deck. I must say she is definitely upbeat & cheerful. When I went in the back my bud-tender Rebecca was helpful with helping me select my strain base on the Turpines of my desire which came out to be Dosido 22-22. Skyler the manager on duty is VERY knowledgeable and driven in cannabis. Which reflect the whole staff. I was highly impressed on how smooth things went being a “New patient” & at the time which it seemed to me, be a “rush” . Having patients coming in behind me. But everyone was in still in unison & the best part didn’t make me feel rushed.
