Amazing head high from concentrate form of this from Theory Wellness in Bridgewater MA (medical patients pre-order only at time of this review). If you need to kill PMS or cramps, THIS is a GREAT strain. Chronic illness Spoonie/Forker? Spoons rejuvenated, forks reprioritized and often enough, that Inner Critic is carefully, none-so-gently screened into submission.

I've been slipping back into depression after a double-loss to my family, which has been unresponsive to nutritional supplements and coping mechanisms. Last month, I had gotten a "trial menu" from Ermont in Quincy, MA and among them was Black Widow. Today is the first time I've tried it and damn. It's taken the weight off of my chest, and brought a gentle rest to my mind. There's a noticeable body high within five minutes, and half an hour in (right now), I can feel the fatigue begin to lift. I feel like I can face the day, and get ready for the next week.

It was all right. The best parts about this strain to me was that it was a smooth vape, was easy on my lungs, and I felt some fatigue melt right off. There was a sweet, earthy flavor to the exhale that had me intrigued, but it's not enough to make me come back for more. I had a pretty consistent pressure at my temples, and felt effects for 3 hours off of 2 vape puffs. (I'm a bit of a lightweight with new strains and prefer microdosing whenever possible.) The downer? I got a headache after those 3 hours. Being someone who suffers from migraines, this is less than stellar in my opinion.

Blue Dream will always end up being my go-to when I can get it. It was my first strain to try, and has been helping me manage depression, anxiety, PTSD, and migraines. The taste is pleasant, and since I vape it, I never really get that permeating smell of weed when it's smoked. The best part of using BD is that I don't get couchlock or feel sluggish. I take a couple breaths off of my vape, let it settle for 15 minutes, and can walk right into work. It doesn't seem to take care of the body pain with me as well as it does for the migraines and headaches. But with that being the only downside to this strain, I'll just use a different strain when I get home from work for the pain management.
