This has been my one-stop shop in Cottage Grove for over a year now. I have tried all the dispensaries in the Grove, and Apothecaria is head-and-shoulders above them all. The tenders are knowledgable, friendly, and professional. I have never felt rushed to make a purchase, and the tenders always take the time to show me the varieties that work best for my ailments. The shop itself reflects their professionalism, being much more like a pharmacy instead of a head shop. The buds are trimmed much better than other shops I've been to, so you aren't spending your money on stems. I'm so glad that Apothecaria is here in the Grove, as I would otherwise have to make a round-trip to Eugene to get comparable quality at a comparable price.

It has been a month now, but I thought it only fair to try the other dispensaries in Corvallis before I gave my review for Green Room. This was my first-ever purchase from a dispensary, and I was quite dissapointed in just about everything with my experience at the Green Room. Right off the bat, the product and pricing on Leafly was strickly for OMMP card holders, and that was not stated on the menu. I AM a medicinal user, but have not been able to incur the expense to get an OMMP card, as I am on a fixed disability income for both cancer and major cardio-vascular issues. I had a list of three different strains that fit my complex medical needs, and was told once I got there... that the menu items were only for OMMP card holders. So I could not get any of the three strains that I really needed for my condition. Instead I was shown an alternative strain for their 'recreational' customers, at almost twice the price (that's called discriminatory folks). They treated me as a recreational user, despite me telling them I was a medicinal user. Wake up, Green Room, there are about 1.2 million medicinal users in the US that do not have an MMP cards due to either concern over careers or finances. I thought you prized yourself on being educated? It doesn't take an MMP card to make you a very ill person. Next, the receptionist was gruff, almost rude, and seemed like she really didn't want to even be there. I felt more like I was at the DMV. Then I was made to feel rushed, as they let another customer into the bud room behind me, without having a second budtender to serve him. That's called rude folks. The bud I had to buy instead, was both airy and stick-laden, and not as potent as claimed to be, but I didn't know that (because it is all pre-packaged) until I got it back home. It's a thirty-mile round trip for me. I had a much more pleasant visit to another Corvallis dispensary, with a much more knowledgable and understanding staff, that posted their real prices on Leafly, and don't discriminate, and also sell properly trimmed bud that I can pick from myself. I sure won't be coming back to the Green Room any time soon, as this place is the fast-food of dispensaries that I have experienced to date.

I had a very pleasant, informative, and enjoyable experience at Beaver Bowls. I came here with my wife this afternoon for the first time, and was impressed by the freindly and knowledgable staff, as well as their professionalism. They made my wife and I feel both welcome and comforatable, and never made me feel rushed to get to another customer. The quality of the product I bought was top rate, nice tightly formed bud without a lot of lumber (not at all like the multitude of sticks I got in the pre-packaged, over-priced eighth I bought at another Corvallis dispensary recently). The availability and price of the buds were as stated on their menu here on Leafly (once again, they were not at the other dispensary where I got the stick-laden bud, and were misleading about availability as well). Matt weighed out my buds right in front of me, while giving me an opportunity to pick the buds I liked for my purchase. Matt also took the time to gave me a printed sheet with similiar strains providing the closest match for my multiple and complex medicinal needs , should my preferred strain not be available sometime in the future. Thank you, Matt, for your additional time to talk about the tincures use with my wife, who is considering this as a natural alternative to ween her down from the extremely expensive and narcotic inhalers she uses for her acute COPD. I can't think of one negative thing about my experience at Beaver Bowls, and when it's time to re-up my meds, I know exactly where I'm going next time. Bravo Beaver Bowls!
