We just moved to Hood River from southern Cal and are in love with the gorge. This was my first time to Tropicannabis...what a cool place. I thought our shops in Cali were top, oh how wrong I was! From the time you pull in and park at the dock/boardwalk in front of the sea mural you know your in for something special, VERY special. It took us 15 minutes after going inside to order. I don't have words for the inside except WOW! The only way to start to describe is Hard Rock meets Hollywood meets Universal Studios. My wife and I forgot that we were there to by pot. The budtenders were exceptionally knowledgeable and crazy helpful and friendly (unlike our old shop). We didn't expect the HUGE selection and diverse products. Now for the last thing on our checklist to find a new dispensary, price. That was 100% answered by the girl being helped in front of us. She was buying a 1gm cartridge for $17.50 out the door!!!!! We were both positive we had heard incorrectly so we started to strain eavesdrop. Here's what we found out, the price was $17.50 with tax, the girl works for a dispensary in the gorge and she said the NEXT cheapest 1gm cartridge in the gorge was $27. We have now found our home dispensary. A couple items of note, I have NEVER wrote a long ass review like this ever and we visited the other 5 shops in town first. I hope this helps someone like us new to the area or traveling through not knowing where to go.
