Blue Dream is a great Hybrid strain, perhaps the prime example of cannabis genetic engineering today. Blue Dream is a 50/50 hybrid and is a great all around medicine, I find it very useful for daytime use. It has been helpful for nausea and pain relief. I also find it is an effective mood enhancer (makes me feel good) albeit a bit more relaxing than most sativas. Light green with an almost blue hue Blue Dream is often fluffy and capable of growing large buds. It has a sweet and very distinct aroma. Sweet, spicy and and a strange indescribable aftertaste. Why do I want to say it is almost like simple green? (all purpose cleaner... in a good way) This particular batch of BD is very strong and has great medicinal properties. It has strong euphoric qualities like its haze parent but much more relaxing and calming like blueberry. The effect was quite pleasant, a happy and calming feeling that was awake but a bit more foggy than a more pure sativa A few more puffs and the indica characteristics begin to take over, very enjoyable relaxing body buzz. Often characterized as a sativa dominant by medical dispensaries I have found that often but not always to be the case.

Durban Poison is considered one of the most pure sativas out there. A very energetic high Durban has a unique character to it's buzz as well as its taste. This is a very motivational strain, great for the morning or daytime. Clear and happy one can still function on this strong sativa. That said, proceed with caution, this is a strong psychoactive sativa if you over do it you may feel jittery, agitated and very medicated. Durban Poison tastes like pine with hints of menthol, almost like medicine (or poison?). A highly recommended delicious strain Durban Poison is a great "get up and go" medication.
