Okay, first… I just want to say that a local dispo here had a FIRE sale, and I was able to pick up an entire ounce of Pennywise for $75, which is absolutely absurd. And amazing. That being said, I think this might be my new favorite strain. As someone with hyper-sensitivity to basically everything, I’m very picky about what I smoke. I’m prone to crippling anxiety and panic attacks, so I try to stay away from anything that will “f*** me up.” This strain is perfection. The flower I purchased is 1:1 at 11% and 11% (obvs). I really can’t say enough good things about Pennywise. Stress relief. Anxiety relief. Pain relief. I feel like the Universe has me wrapped in a protective blanket. Everything just melts away, and you’re left with an ocean of calm while retaining the ability to focus. I honestly don’t ever want to run out of this stuff. Plant medicine has a special place in my life, and I hope this particular strain has helped others the way it’s helped me.

What can I say that hasn’t been said already? This stuff is incredible. Hands down one of my favorite smokes. It really just makes me feel connected to the Earth. Extremely pleasant high. Not overwhelming at all. The world just melts away. I suffer from extreme anxiety and panic disorder, and a few hits of this puts me in a relaxed, yet focused state of mind. Uplifting and just positive vibes all around. I am truly grateful for this strain. The smell, the taste, it’s all top notch. If you’re on the fence about Grease Monkey, don’t be. You won’t regret it.

I absolutely love this stuff. There’s only one dispo in town that currently carries it, and it’s expensive… but I really do love it. The strain here is 19% CBD and 2% THC, so it doesn’t do much in terms of getting you ‘high’, but it definitely calms down my brain and allows me to focus. It’s a perfect strain for when you need to get stuff done. Nice little kick of energy, but not twitchy like with energy drinks. Just feels like a natural relief from fatigue. This will definitely be in my rotation. I honestly wish it were a little closer to 1:1, or even 2:1, but I’m happy with this for sure.

Excellent for relaxation. I use it after an outdoor run to calm the nerves and ease muscle tension. Doesn’t necessarily get you ‘high’, but you can feel the strain doing its thing. Just kinda makes the world melt away. Makes it easy to focus on art projects. A good strain to smoke if you want to get lost in an activity. I love smoking this after a long day at work. Just…. Wow. Can you imagine Owen Wilson saying “Wowwww.” That’s how Afghan Kush makes me feel. This stuff hit me like a freight train. I’ll be honest, I got a little bit of anxiety initially, but that’s just because I wasn’t expecting this to blast me into space. One minute I’m cleaning out the cat litter box, the next minute my brain has entered an alternate dimension where sounds are flavors and flavors are kaleidoscopes. The taste and smell of this strain are incredibly unique. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a vacation to another world.
