Leafly Got This One Right
As a Colorado medical cannabis patient with an EPC card, I can honestly see why Hash Burger was named Leafly’s Strain of the Year for 2025.
The genetics alone caught my attention. A cross between Han Solo Hash Plant and Double Burger, this strain carries a terpene profile dominated by myrcene, followed by caryophyllene and limonene. The result is exactly what many reviewers describe: a loud, funky, earthy aroma with notes of ammonia, pepper, cheese, onion, and pure cannabis funk. Definitely not a sweet dessert strain, and that’s part of what I enjoy about it.
What stood out most for me was the effect. I agree with several reviewers that cannabis doesn’t affect everyone the same way. I’ve had “indicas” that energized me and “sativas” that put me to sleep. For me, Hash Burger landed right where I wanted it to. It delivered a strong wave of relaxation, noticeable euphoria, and excellent pain relief without feeling uncomfortable or overwhelming.
As a medical patient, I found it particularly helpful for chronic pain, stress, and anxiety. The body relief was substantial, and as the evening progressed, the relaxing effects became even more noticeable. I can absolutely understand why so many people use this strain for nighttime relief and sleep support.
At around 30% THC, this is not beginner flower. The potency is real. Even with a higher tolerance, I found myself respecting this strain after just a few sessions. It has that rare quality of reminding you why you fell in love with cannabis in the first place.
The flower smoked clean, the effects lasted, and the overall experience left me impressed. Wedding Cake may still be one of my longtime favorites, but Hash Burger has absolutely earned a place in my regular rotation.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
From one EPC patient to another: if you enjoy old-school funk, strong terpene expression, meaningful pain relief, and a deeply relaxing evening strain, Hash Burger is worth every bit of the recognition it’s receiving.
