Hash Burger is Leafly Strain of the Year 2025. Also called HashBurger, it is a slightly indica-dominant hybrid cannabis strain (about 60% indica/40% sativa) created from a cross of Han Solo Hash Plant and Double Burger. Hash Burger was bred by California Seed Bank’s Respect and Mrs. Respect, while in a now-defunct partnership with Skunk House Genetics’ Skunk Master Flex. Known for its high potency (often testing between 28–35% THCa/THC), this stinky strain contains a bevy of putrid terps featuring caryophyllene, limonene, and myrcene, with notes from its GMO, Donny Burger, and Triangle Kush heritage. This culminates in an earthy, ammonia, umami, onion, and funk flavor blend. Hash Burger hits with heavy, sedating effects, making this strain a popular choice for evening or nighttime use. Many people report using Hash Burger to help manage symptoms related to stress, anxiety, pain, and sleep issues. This is an award-winning strain for its high THCa content, winning silver at the 2024 CA State Fair Cannabis Awards. If you’ve smoked, dabbed, or consumed Hash Burger, tell us about your experience by leaving a strain review.

Leafly Got This One Right As a Colorado medical cannabis patient with an EPC card, I can honestly see why Hash Burger was named Leafly’s Strain of the Year for 2025. The genetics alone caught my attention. A cross between Han Solo Hash Plant and Double Burger, this strain carries a terpene profile dominated by myrcene, followed by caryophyllene and limonene. The result is exactly what many reviewers describe: a loud, funky, earthy aroma with notes of ammonia, pepper, cheese, onion, and pure cannabis funk. Definitely not a sweet dessert strain, and that’s part of what I enjoy about it. What stood out most for me was the effect. I agree with several reviewers that cannabis doesn’t affect everyone the same way. I’ve had “indicas” that energized me and “sativas” that put me to sleep. For me, Hash Burger landed right where I wanted it to. It delivered a strong wave of relaxation, noticeable euphoria, and excellent pain relief without feeling uncomfortable or overwhelming. As a medical patient, I found it particularly helpful for chronic pain, stress, and anxiety. The body relief was substantial, and as the evening progressed, the relaxing effects became even more noticeable. I can absolutely understand why so many people use this strain for nighttime relief and sleep support. At around 30% THC, this is not beginner flower. The potency is real. Even with a higher tolerance, I found myself respecting this strain after just a few sessions. It has that rare quality of reminding you why you fell in love with cannabis in the first place. The flower smoked clean, the effects lasted, and the overall experience left me impressed. Wedding Cake may still be one of my longtime favorites, but Hash Burger has absolutely earned a place in my regular rotation. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From one EPC patient to another: if you enjoy old-school funk, strong terpene expression, meaningful pain relief, and a deeply relaxing evening strain, Hash Burger is worth every bit of the recognition it’s receiving.

As a experienced smoker..you are going to want to save this weed, stretch it out, or make sure you get it in large quantities. I smoked all day read the reviews and made sure I saved this one for my last blunt of the day . I love mixing strains (currently have 13) so I get used to how each makes me feel. This one takes you back to when you first began smoking. as a smoker this is all you need to know. Started low mixing a .4 of 31% overal 37% TAC with some pretty good street weed (had to be around 22-26%thc). It was a pleasant face melter. Instantly felt a head high, warm face, body relaxing in the first few hits. Ear popping which was a first since I started smoking. Severe muscle injury so everything I smoke is for pain etc. Every muscle that ached was absolutely easier to stretch. Immediately rolled a fat one of straight Hash and body felt like a super saiyan charging up. Hope this helps lol.

I want to start off b y saying I'm a veteran of 32 years (nonstop) consumer of cannabis. I've recently learned that sativa vs indica, or indica vs a hybrid strain and their advertised as making you sleepy or energetic etc is subjective and super debatable at best. Now, I "use" cannabis, in all its glorious forms, as a medication, a form of self medicating. I now know we're being lied to by cannabis companies. In other words, indicas don't necessarily make you sleepy or couch locked, as well as sativas aren't always going to make you feel tired. Then throw in the fact that everyone is different, meaning, we all metabolize THC differently. So it ultimately affects us all differently at different times. Now that we have well over 1000 strains to choose from, you have to experiment with different strains and types. I used this Indica dominant strain (Hash Burger)to go shopping at Walmart and BJ's, wash my car, do work in the yard and cook dinner. I'm done ranting just thought Id drop some knowledge, or at least give you something to think about. Ride the wave, life is what you make it
