Found this in live resin concentrate and it's one of the most complex and subtle tasting strains I have come across. Relatively high levels of humulene, maybe inherited from the sour diesel, along with the familiar kush notes...you just have to try it for yourself and see.
Just like every says, the body is relaxed but the mind is opened up to extremely divergent thinking and a gentle sweeping aside of anxious or traumatic thoughts. Overindulge and things can get a bit trippy but not in a bad way. It's just that medical users might want to keep the doses in the "Goldilocks Zone" and those new to cannabis should take it slowly with this strain. Very potent, and I mean that in the true sense which can't be quantified by a simple THC%.
It gets me loosened up whenever I feel uptight. I don’t have that head high that I usually get with Sativa’s where I’m stuck in thought, it actually gets me out of my head and keeps me present. Although, I do need to smoke more of it to get me to the high that I want to get.
Strong head high. Recommend relaxing with friends and not sleeping because it keeps me awake but also relaxed. Sometimes paranoid if ingested to much so I try to limit myself. Nice body high.
Feeling happy and everything is amazing. Highly recommend pairing this with standup comedy.
My friend and I affectionately call this strain “Down Goes Frazier!” because it knocks me loopy. I’ve tried dozens of strains and I haven’t found one that gives me a stronger high than this one does. I vape CO2 when I consume this - it takes a little bit to come on, but does it ever come on strong. This is one of the few strains where, if I smoke too much of it, it can literally knock me on my ass. Massive body relaxation but a super strong head high too, with a tight (pleasant) headband sensation. Gives me a nice relaxed and happy feeling overall, yet makes me want to do something creative like art or writing music. I love sativa dominant hybrids in general - this one is in my top 3 faves. I should have expected it, with this having roots in Sour Diesel, which is the king of the old school sativas to me.
After hearing about this strain some time ago it started popping up in shops in and around Seattle. I've been searching for that sativa or hybrid with sativa energy levels, euphoria, creativity, and packing a punch of indica but doesn't give you the couch lock pass out phase.
Ladies and gents, this is that strain. It's simply wonderful, and gets better each time I try it. Now I'm speaking solely from a concentrates standpoint, as I've never smoked the flower.
This latest pickup was created by Solstice, which is one of my favorite producers of flowers back before I switched to concentrates only. They simply put know wtf they're doing, and always had TOP END flower, beautifully manicured, and potent as ever.
So naturally their concentrates follow that same lineage. They don't skip a beat, and I picked up sunset sherbert and headband to see how they're doing. Both look like liquid gold, but not shatter. Nice consistency, gold in color, and as soon as the caps off you're hit in the face with a lemony-diesely punch that immediately grabs your attention if it hadn't already unboxing it. Great packaging, as expected, from solstice.
Tastes the same as it smells , even better, and not harsh on the lungs. Onset creeps a bit and then youre off and it's no joke, so don't over do it if you're a rookie.
Great creativity from this strain, lots of energy and a total euphoric feeling that has all the sounds, sights and tastes of the world coming to life in a wonderfully orgasmic way. Like the Lego movie song, you'll be humming "everything is awesome" whilst doing your happy dance for several hours. Get out and see the world on headband.
And yes, it'll get you so high that it feels like you have a headband or tight ball cap on. And it feels so, so great.
So that's it. Since I gave headband a shot it's quickly leapfrogged other strains and easily in my top 3 now, with definitively it being my favorite sativa like or sativa dominant hybrid.
Great taste, powerhouse thc percentage, great flower and even greater in concentrate form, Headband does not disappoint and just might give people an experience that renews or expands their love for marijuana.
Seek it out if you're a cannaisseur and love to procure the best strains for your collection. Might want to go easy if you have low tolerance or are rookie or inexperienced smoker since it packs a punch, creeps, and gets you for several hours.
If you see it in local shops, you cannot go wrong by picking some up. This strain is why people LOVE weed.
it's good but even at 80% I have to use more than I'd like to get good effects, at a low dose it's a buzz all over the body that then subsides and leaves me with a headache. At larger dose again starts with the buzzing, then it's like there is a fog in your eyes. you feel lighter and get the giggles. I was also REALLY into textures. Still got a headache while coming down. I also want to add this gave me the king of munchies lol.
Relaxes but gives a bit of energy for me, which I need. Good for anxiety
