smoked a joint of black African magic. made olive oil infused with flower. didn't love the flavor smoking it, strange I don't like terpinolene's intense flavor but I love its medicinal effect, kind of like Durban poison but definitely different, personally I love the energizing effect. My hypothesis is that people don't like "sativas" because smoking them is too "light" of an effect, compared to say smoking OG kush. genetics have been bred for "smoking," not eating. I have never heard of anyone creating genetics bred specifically for an "edible" strain. Since everyone knows, if you eat enough, the effect can be way stronger, and if I'm taking "high dose THC", all I want is "sativa," because I want to trip out and enjoy feel cooked for hours, not be asleep and feel dead for two days! Hence why even some heavy smokers are scared of edibles, lol. And so the edible form of this for me is superior to (skunk-crossed/stabilized?) durban poison and is more likely a landrace that has not been cross bred. It is just as I expected/hoped, very uplifting, energizing, clear headed, "psychedelic," with levels of potency for me unachievable/unknowable by just smoking, which is where the unique effect of a strain like this proves undeniably to shine through, which I think is truly amazing, and close to being the indigenous landrace cultivar of my dreams. all the other "landraces" I have been able to try have been crossed with a different strain, and thus never really quite a perfect example. this guy golden temple cannabis in Thailand goes on and on about it, and I thought perhaps he was just going on about nothing, but I think he's right. he alleges a lot of bad things occurring with modern genetics. spiritually to me it just makes sense, strains are bred semi cluelessly for yield and the greed of growers, recessive traits disappear as a result, and a lot of the great rare qualities of this plant are lost, perhaps forever. the example in california is grown by the bohemian chemist who back crossed it to increase CBC levels, a newly researched cannabinoid that may have unique therapeutic/medicinal effects. for all we know, a combination such as THC+terpinolene+CBC may aid illnesses such as Alzheimer's. I want to encourage the conversation towards making energizing landrace "Sativa" cultivars of cannabis known about/admired/available, because they seem to not be in the conversation at all, most of the time in the dumbed down modern day cannabis world.

Out of the 4 strains I grew on my last cycle BAM (Black African Magic) turned out to be my absolute favorite and for more that one reason!! I had Cookie Dough, Ice Cream Runtz, and BAM. I knew a lot about what I was up against with the Cookie Dough and Runtz, but knew absolutely nothing about the BAM. When growing I always aim I want do everything from start to finish the absolute best. Almost all I have learned has come through trial and error. One thing is for certain; if your aiming to grow some top shelf level product, first things first, whatever strain you go with, make sure that strain has the “genes” to be able to achieve the results you are looking for! With that being said, I lucked the F*** out with BAM 1. QUALITY GENETICS 🧬—- ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 2. DENSITY 🪨🪻—————-⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3. BAG APPEAL 🎉💐——- ——⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4.AROMA/TASTE 🍋⛽️🪵🪄—⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5. HIGH/EFFECT 🔥🔥———--⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5. HIGH YIELD 💥 💥————-⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 6. SHORT FLOWERING TIME⏰- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Skill level: Intermediate- to achieve the best results you will want to defoliate heavily. This girl gets bushy and could easily get out of hand. LST(low stress training), SCROGGING (Sea of Green), Lollipopping really helps. Best result came from very heavy strip on 1st day of flowering and the 21st day of flowering, leaving nothing but the top 3-5 nodes of fan leaves. All-in-All no matter what, this is one hell of a plant and I loved watching her blossom and was proud of the end result. After speaking so highly of this strain, I just went back the get more and of course they are out of stock. I have one seed left. Looks like I’ll have no choice but to grow a mother instead 😂 good luck!

Very uplifting and inspiring, but focused. I don’t feel overwhelmed, scatterbrained or paranoid like some really high THC Sativa dominant strains like Chemdawg, which, of course, simply requires a less-is-more approach. There is definitely a slight psychedelic aspect to BAM, as it gives me light-light layers of geometric patterns overlying my peripheral vision and much more when I close my eyes. It also gives a nice euphoric feeling but without feeling off-balance! I will definitely be getting more asap!

Straight fyaaaa. 10 outa ten recommend

I go to a local smoke shop in Brooklyn and they always have a list of strains. Unfortunately, the vast majority constitute either Indica or Indica dominant hybrids. Yesterday I found this strain along with Pineapple Express. Great Sativa day!
