Cannatonic reviews
Read people’s experiences with the cannabis strain Cannatonic.
grown my own... be ready that some is higher THC them cbd and vice versa. only use original seeds from Rasin seeds.
50% is 1:1, 25% higher THC them CBD 25% higher cbd then THC.
this is by far the best strain I e er smoked in my whole life.. both for my v
back paim when nothing else helped, nothing else!!
love the relaxed and anxiety killer effect. it also gives a super nice tinglingly effect that almost feels like an ongoing tactical massage.
I will never stop growimg this strain never!!! the vart by far! No competition when it comes to other medical strains!
This product was my 1st introduction back into the world of cannabis in 20 years. I get sever anxiety when I do not feel like I have control over my surroundings, so rightfully so I was very nervous about what effects this would have on me. I use to indulge back in the day, but paranoia would creep up and exasperate my anxiety, so I stopped. I tried Cannatonic for the 1st yesterday and it was awesome! As a true nervous nellie, I kept waiting for that “feeling” of uncertainty to kick in, and it did not. Actually at no point did I ever even feel “high”. I felt very calm, relaxed, and steady, but not in a “I just took something” way… I was completely normal. I noticed a pretty quick relief to my chronic pain areas. I felt zero effects of the THC as it would relate to the feeling of “being stoned”. To me, the taste reminds me of what Italian seasoning smell like! lol Great product for medicinal purpose and as a way for a very anxious person to try to slowly step back into the world of cannabis.
This bud typically goes head to head with Harlequin.

Not entirely sure why.
Harlequin is a sativa dom. bud, this is a indica leaning hybrid.
Upon first toke, I was greeted with a pleasant flavor, nice and earthy, a little sweet as well, with a fantastic scent!
The flavor doesn't stick on you like it does with Harlequin, which is a shame, because I love tasting my cannabis after the fact.
The high is entirely different than Harlequin.
I got a little more anxious, it did not help with my anxiety, but it did uplift my spirit a little, I felt happier, but it wasn't a "high" happy, it was a natural "I'm just a happier person".
Maybe the anxiety was due to the fact that I got poor sleep and was a little tired. Who knows.
Anywho, moving on.
The high is weird. It's neither a sativa or a indica high. It's quite literally, right down the middle. Your body gets tingly, but you're not tired, and you get a decent cerebral buzz but it's not too hard. You get happy, but not the giggles.
It's quite literally down the middle. A GREAT hybrid.
The come down is just fine, no heavy effects on the come down, you go back to "normal", not tired, or dizzy or drowsy. Then again I just smoked half a bowls worth for this review.
Over all, Cannatonic is a decent bud. But it does not feel "complete" like Harlequin does. Harlequin is honestly, and in my opinion, one of the best buds out there. You can get sleepy from it, or energetic, or happy as a clown or super focused. Dependent completely on your mood.
Cannatonic just does whatever it does to you, but it does it well.
I wouldn't look at this bud if you're looking for a crazy high. Instead you'll get a well balanced body/head buzz that is pleasant and not over powering.
I wouldn't use it if you're lethargic, because it does nothing for your energy levels.
Now you might be reading this and saying "OMG IT MAKES YOU ANXIOUS", keep in mind I went through a boring and depressing day, so yes, I was a little depressed and emotionally "blah", which is NEVER a good context to part take in. The anxiety was not over powering at all...It was there, it makes your body surge with a bit of energy, but as soon as you get up and move around, it wears off quickly.
"So you're saying it doesn't help energy levels, but I should get up and move around because it makes you anxious"....Yes, anxiousness makes you want to move. But it's not because of the buds characteristics.
Don't worry, just don't smoke this indoors and you'll be fine. This is a "busy day" kind of bud, or a "out in nature" or park kind of bud.
If bud of any kind makes you anxious, don't smoke it indoors, typically does the trick. ;)
If I HAD to pick between Harlequin, I would take Harlequin in a heart beat and you should too. Maybe grab a gram of this.
But this is a solid replacement for Harlequin if you have none of it around.
71$ after tax for quarter ounce at Caliva in SJ.
The description here said that the effects were relatively short lived, that was definitely not my experience! I put a tiny half of a grain of rice size of CO2 extracted oil under my tongue, it took about an hour to kick in, but then it lasted 8 hours! The effects people talk about lasted around 4 hours, but then the general pain relief effects lasted an additional 4-5 hours. It made me just a tiny bit couch locked, but in a nice way, and made me kind of classically high - chill and amenable.
Unfortunately though, I did not experience the level of pain relief that is said to be an effect of Cannatonic. My body felt good, but when a muscle spasmed, or a nerve screamed, I did still feel it. It was muted, but not enough for me to say that Cannatonic is a go-to for pain. Frida, by Raven Grass is going to remain my best bud.
As someone who is very sensitive to THC, this is one of my FAVORITE strains. I suffer from migraines, depression, ADHD, and OCD so you can imagine the avoidance of THC — too much anxiety and overly stimulated.
Perfect for beginners!
This gives me a relaxing body buzz but a clear head. I would say it gives me a mild high, but it’s proven to be a manageable high AND controllable high — as in, I can choose how high I want to get and smoke accordingly.
This is my FAVORITE vibe strain. I love to roll a joint and put my favorite records on with my friends.
I will say that this strain has an odd effect on me when I’m “going up”. You know that weird feeling of wool sweaters? Yeah. I feel it all around my body for a good 10 minutes but then releases a calm euphoria. Treats my migraines and has drastically reduced the frequency. I went from 3-4 a year to 0-1 a year.
Highly recommend for thc-sensitive people or people looking for a solid medical strain.
This strain has been AMAZING. I will definitely get some more of this. As a wounded veteran who struggles with social anxiety,PTSD and occasional panic attacks, this strain has been a godsend. I would Def recommend to anybody who struggles with these symptoms, to try this flower. Im old school, so I smoke flower EVERYTHING out of a pipe. Flavor was good and the effects for me are almost immediate.
keep in mind this is a 🌺 review. I don't smoke wax or anything like that.
Seems to be a 2:1 ratio (10% CBD/ 5%THC) on the strain I bought. There was about 5% thc and it's JUST enough to give you a mellow high, that lifts you off the ground but doesn't put you in the clouds.
if you're a beginner smoker looking to try flower for the first time, I would recommend this strain as it won't blast you to the moon and back.
I'd rate this strain an 8-9/10 as far as effectiveness goes.
it gives me a mild high combined with a gentle sense of relaxation.
I have no paranoia and normally I am functioning again after a couple of hours. (Despite still being able to feel "the breeze")
I have bad back and nerve pain due to spinal stenosis and a bulging disk at L4/5.
Normally, I get the highest THC strain I can get my hands on to kill the pain. I was shocked when my budtender told me about this strain and how it helps with pain.
I decided to give it a try tonight and i'm pleasantly suprised. This would be the perfect strain for someone wanting to dip their toe into smoking but might be to afraid. The high is extremely low and almost non existent.
My pain has definetly improved after tacking a few hits. I feel more relaxed without the intense side effects of higher THC levels.
Don't get me wrong, I still love the ride, but this one is worth the try.
