Very smooth and definitely a good pain reliever. Even better when it gives a light body experience but very good high. Definitely a fav.

love the buzz but I kept coughing my lungs for 25 minutes after the j was over.
my dispensary's stock of Cannatonic has clocked in at 13%cbd, 6%thc, and has been the go-to for nearly all my medicating needs. Works particularly well for leveling before work without being too sedating. Will experiment for effectiveness against PMS
I've learned that my body reacts best to this strain when used for medicine making (i.e., tinctured, in salves, infused in coconut oil, etc...) & not when smoked or vaporized. I just don't get "high" or feel the THC too much when smoked. About 15 minutes into it, I do notice pain relief, and I mean it is definitely very noticeable. Even though I don't really feel the THC in this strain, the batch I got, definitely had a very distinct Indica feel to it. I feel it in my body more than in my mind. I take the tincture at night to help with insomnia caused by chronic pain.
I recommend you use this strain for tinctures, salves, making edibles, and things of this nature. You'll get the medicinal aspects without the psychoactive effects. I personally really like this for my own tinctures, salves, and edibles. I've come to use this strain almost exclusively for these types of medicines.
Perfect for pain. Love this strain!
I LOVE this strain! Light sweet and a lil minty.
I have anxiety and suffer from panic attacks occassionally. I also suffer from Psoriasis. I researched this strain and felt it would work best for these two issues i deal with.
In the past, when i've vaped,
i would end up with a panic attack. The strong body buzz would trigger an attack. But the visual changes in my sight might have also caused me anxiety. Unfortunately what was to be a relaxing time, just turned so sour so fast.
With this strain, I am able to get the relaxation I need without the head high or body buzz that triggers my attacks. The high cbd content and low THC is the perfect pairing if you have anxiety and want an anti-inflammatory and immune system regulator. It will keep you relaxed. I could function fine although I was sometimes a lil heavy-lidded.
The effects didnt last long. 2 hours tops. So I medicated often- wanted to keep the healing cbds in my body (: Only time will tell if this helps cure my psoriasis. i'll let you know if it does.
Got my Cannatonic at Waterfall Wellness in SF.

An earthy tasting strain, amazing for AS.
Cannatonic is a very unique strain, from my experience. I usually smoke THC dominant bud, whether it be a heavy Indica or a daytime Sativa. This is true medicinal marijuana, though. Cannatonic has very little psychoactive effect. For some, that is a negative, but for some it is a major and strain defining positive.
This certainly isn't recreational weed. It isn't going to get you stoned or high. This is just pure good stuff with true medicinal effects. About 5-10 minutes after smoking, the effect starts to set in. A very nice, broad body buzz, all pain melts away, physical, emotional, and mental. This strain has all the medicinal benefits of marijuana, without the psychological effects.
Personally, I quite enjoy the psychological high from THC, but for those of you out there truly looking for marijuana purely from a medicinal standpoint, for those of you who need relief but don't want to get high or be cloudy, this it it.
The strain is very high in CBD, and low in THC. It's very good stuff, it can be up to 60 for 1/8, but you can find deals on it too. Very worth it.
