A true powerhouse Indica! Very dense, rather monotone coloured nugs. A heavy smoke that can leave you totally baked, even after just a few tokes. Chopping up a bud, the smell was indeed sour - a bit cat pissy but in a pleasant(?) way. Fuely, dank...When ignited, the taste was nice but I endured a slight harshness or "bite". I like my Indica and Indica-dominant strains, and this one's for real. Not for novices, and not for being out-and-about. If you like a powerful cannabis high, you'll like Dark Star!

Super chill indica that destroyed any anxiety/depression in my way as well as helping tremendously with my ptsd. Solid 9/10. Thank beach boys deliver! 10/10 delivery service that treats us patients right.

I'm giving Dark Star five stars for one reason .... it puts me to sleep and improves the amount of time I stay asleep. I go all Granddad on this stuff...my family members find me nodded out watching The Golden Girls ..... Dark Star strain provides a pleasant, somewhat heavy high before The Sandman shows up. Winner, winner .....

Deep, encompassing indica with a slight tinge of sativa. In the beginning I was goofy hyper, feeling euphoric and floaty. Soon settled into a heavily relaxed high, helping decrease anxiety, pain, insomnia, and nausea almost entirely. Caused me to nod off within the hour.

I love Dark Star for bedtime. It's euphoric and spacey enough to keep me amused while being heavy enough to knock my wife out with two bowls... somehow we both get exactly what we want in the same strain. White Tara from Harmony Farms and Granddaddy Purple fall in the same category. Took an eighth camping a couple weeks ago... it was a group thing and I figured I'd better bring extra to share, and just as I expected, everyone sat around the fire and partook in the Death Star. This is what I noticed... everyone got chill and would occasionally fall silent, the novice smokers were blazed off their asses and fell asleep quickly, and the chronic smokers got very punchy and goofy. Everyone was asleep by 1am. So, be warned, it'll put your ass to sleep, but you'll have a great time as you float to dreamland.

As someone diagnosed with insomnia this particular strain is a life saver. Working third shift doesn't really allow for much sleep in general but with Dark Star sleep no longer feels like something just out of reach.
