Gelato reviews

I recently obtained some Gelati - with an 'i' rather than an 'o' - which I'm confident assuming is the same (or super similar) strain to Gelato. (Google churns up no results for a strain galled Gelati) Regardless, the wonderful effects of the medicine have inspired me to write my first review. Wow. I am a very frequent smoker (all California medical-grade) and my tolerance is quite high. And yet... right now... well over an hour after smoking a moderate sized bowl (my first one of Gelati), I am ONLY NOW feeling the slightest comedown. My goodness. And the high is just superb. Very elevated mood, super relaxed, incredible body high, heavy eyelids and yet... still energizing. This is one of the best strains I have ever smoked. I am flush with top-shelf flower right now, and yet everything else I'm currently sampling (Cookies, Black Dog, DoSiDos, Sundae Driver, Tangie, Gorilla Glue etc.) just won't be quite as satisfying. MID-REVIEW UPDATE- Despite my earlier comments about the comedown finally happing, I just felt a strong wave of relaxation and joy, that feeling when the indica traits 'take you'. Wow, this strain even gets an A+ in longevity. I rarely buy in bulk, but if I'm ever able to procure some well-grown Gelato I'll have to consider it VERDICT: One of the best strains in all the galaxy.

Excellent smoke! Smooth fruity taste with a quick onset high. Although somewhat physical, the high definitely settles in the head. Sparks creativity and positivity, and stimulates appetite.

Got this recommended at CAÑA Dispensary and BOY O BOY ITS ALL THEY SAID AND THEN SOME!!! It smokes as good as it looks and smells!! It really helped me out with stomach issues related to my chrons Disease! Definitely going to recommend this to all my friends with chrons and to any others who just want a great exotic strain with heavy sedative effects but still mental acuity!

Straight 🔥- more indica heavy but amazing

Gelato will hit you straight to the dome! It’s a heady strain that is both potent and tasty. Flavor wise it is creamy reminiscent of Dairy Queen or Cheese. This strain is definitely more sativa dominant but with a the deep relaxation of an indica, I’d break it down 60/40 sativa to indica, personally. Very well balanced and not overpowering in the least to heavy smokers. This is a pretty incredible recreational strain though I’m sure it could also aid in anxiety and stress related issues. I am flying from just a few bong rips but still clear headed enough to focus and enjoy the high. I do agree that novice smokers should approach this strain with respect and go easy on the Gelato. This may in fact be in my top 10 strains (if I ever decide to make a list) due to how well balanced this strain really is; “robust” doesn’t even cover it. This strain will heighten any situation and setting! It is the perfect snack to brighten your day!

Not too heady which is great, but it does leave you with an open mental space to go along with what you have planned. Thought it might be spacey because of the Sunset Sherb… I smoked it moderately so it gave me the perfect balance. Love the super purply Nugs.
