Hindu Kush reviews
Read people’s experiences with the cannabis strain Hindu Kush.
Amazing Kush. Some of the finest strains one can come across. Hindu Kush has a strong smell and very strong effects. The smell could be described as a cow manure mixed with skunk. It is absolutely covered in trichomes, with a firm bud structure that isn't overly dense. Noothing to be sad about with the Hindu!!
Hindu Kush is fantastic! Picked up a beautiful oz from Takoma Wellness in D.C.. Alternative Solutions consistently produces some excellent flower.
This strain is a knockout. The clear head it gives you coupled with the tension relief your body experiences, is where this flower excels. It comes on quickly like a warm blanket on your mind and it melts down throughout your body. My mind stays sharp, but as other reviewers have said “don’t drive”. I can’t imagine wanting to melt before going somewhere, but shit happens and if it does take a cab.
My wife was a cannabis holdout and this is the strain that finally got her attention. It’s pure Indica effects make it perfect for newcomers. The high is a classic stone. Not a very high ceiling for me with HK and I tend to just fall asleep if I smoke a lot. The lack of a cerebral effect makes the experience more like a muscle relaxer when compared to most of the other strains I gravitate towards.
HK is a kind strain. Good to your body and mind. It’s a true staple in my stash from here on out.
This feels like a luxury strain to me. My partner said "it's a very quiet strain", and I think that's a really good way to describe it - it quiets the mind and body all around. Surrounds you in a very comfortable cloud of relaxed bliss. It's gentle in every way but at the same time you know this is a heavy indica and an ancient strain. The smoke hangs in the air like incense, and the high is lasting for hours. Great for quiet afternoon/evening sitting-down type of activities, or just vegging out to music or a movie. Very strong and good medicine.
This is my favorite strain, I get so much anxiety and paranoia when I have too much but I can handle a lot of this. Definitely recommend to first time smokers or people that struggle with getting too high. Tried it in both flower and concentrate form and really enjoyed both.
my mom bought me a few of these joints from the dispo. when she got home i immediately got up and thanked her and went on a walk with one sparked up. usually i finish my joints way before i’m back from my walks but this one took forever. i was spanked man. this shit got me high as a motherfucker. i kept focusing on one thing really hard and then shifting my attention to something else and doing the same thing over. when i got home i ate the fuck out of some snacks i was so hungry. you get the overall body high but the head high was a whole buff, my face and head were tingling hella. i like this shit definitely share with your friends too!

Definitely one of the top 20
I grew my own this year (legal in my state), and started with an autoflower. Because it was my very first plant ever, I didn’t know what I was doing. Thankfully, the plant did, and gave me a crop of about an ounce (poor thing- I’ll do better next time!). It had the characteristic of grass/hay through the cure, and the final product didn’t change a lot from that. It’s a very plant-y tasting strain, very natural and clean. I get a little bit of Worcester sauce flavor after a toke- salty, herbal, savory, smoky. It’s a very sweet and mellow high, not super couch-lock, but a calm acceptance of sitting, doing chores, or taking a shower. It improved my appetite, did some really decent pain relief, and had a very delayed munchies phase (if you can get to sleep before it kicks in, you’re golden). It impaired my ability to think critically or follow a story line- I just didn’t care. So listening to podcasts or watching a show weren’t really possible.
The buds were loosely packed, without the huge trichomes production you can see in most recent strains, but this is a landrace strain, so one should expect some “wildness” of a naturally-occurring strain. I really like natural flavors, so I really enjoyed it.
A classic indica landrace you can't go wrong with. Classic dense dank buds. It's weird. I almost prefer this one with some extra moisture for nostalgic reasons.
