Northern Lights reviews
Read people’s experiences with the cannabis strain Northern Lights.
Years ago, northern lights was very popular and I remember loving it. The high seemed to last all day back then. I recently had some and found it had very little to rave about. It basically just doesn't stand out in any area but I definitely didn't dislike it. I'd describe it as a typical classic indica even though it's technically a hybrid. Body buzz, not much head high, not too impressive in any way.
Nice Relaxing in "the couch" effect, but not overpowering. Not much flavor via vaping hence the 4 stars. Produced by (Billys bud).
Classy, pleasant indica. Does what it's supposed to do, and does it smoothly and effectively. There are times when I have felt like it dulls the mind more than many indicas, but that's not a certainty. Possibly not recommended for times when you need to think quickly, talk to anyone at length, etc. Might cause you some problems when you say things you might not have intended or when you're not to even able to compose a sentence. Perhaps not that big a deal for some, but there are probably better strains of indica (Nepalese Kush, etc). But, maybe I'm wrong. :-)
I adore this strain. Instant good mood, good high and sets you up for an amazing sleep which is perfect if you have trouble sleeping as I often do.
Very smooth and spiritual. Truly enlightening in open space. Thank u Maggie's staff for the heads up!

Here in Canada, we have the best Northern Lights around! This strain's popularity and notoriety make it fall in the lower average price range. It's a nice smoke. Good for pain management. There is a reason it has won the cup. I've rarely found it in pure form, but the mixes/crosses are also pretty good (e.g. North Star).
When I first tried Northern Lights, it was when I practiced something like "mindfullness", if you will. I had practiced it sober before and I wondered could I reach deeper state of awareness easier with relaxing herb. Well, it didn't go quite as I expected... My mind got hyper active and I couldn't concentrate on the present moment. I went way back in time and could suddenly remember precicely random moments of my life. What I had said or felt or smelled... no wonder cannabis is used to slow down dementia. But even though I didn't get the expected results for emptying my mind, NL is a really good imagination and creativity booster. One other time I played guitar under the influence of NL and got some pretty trippy tunes out of it. One of the best strains I've tried along with Moby Dick! But I quess everyone reacts a little differently on these :)
Very good strain if you need to focus on getting something done xd
