Northern Lights reviews
Read people’s experiences with the cannabis strain Northern Lights.
I love this strain it is my favorite. It almost makes my body feel numb almost as if I’m sinking into my bed and it sort of gives me this effect of just a big weighted blanked laying over me and it very much helps me sleep.
No words. I see why it’s the best. I think I had this once as a teen and whoa. I thought it was laced with something in the illegal days- guess it was that much more potent back in the day. All I have to say is Woah. Never again. I never want to be that far gone again. I was discovering new dimensions and didn’t know what I was doing ( almost like two things at once and in one room at the same time as the other) and paranoid - did not help me sleep because I was too paranoid. Thought I was going to not wake up and wrote my own eulogy from the other side and could see them through a mirror and I was in my phone but it was like a computer game and it was my last connection to someone before my end and I have to get them to help me get out and was praying Jesus help me. I have never ever ever been this tore up my whole life and never want to do it again! Way way too far out there. It’s defiently like some old 90s stuff we use to get back in the day.... really good stuff you don’t even remember what happened the night before. Couch locked, everything slow moving, Ice cream sounds good. Uplifting, dry mouth. VERY inquisitive and retrospective. Makes you think of all your 246 thoughts at once and you have go through each of them layer by layer... so four hours later you’re still trying to figure out which one you want to use to move forward. Dystopian daydreams about just being a robot ans used as a drone to do messy work and then would get my mind reprogrammed for a new project. Are we sure this isn’t laced with something, myyyy goodness. Can’t say this relaxed me at all, but definetly slowed down time... oh yeah and don’t smoke this in a hotel room. Almost set off the fire alarm!! 😳 Most smoke you’ll ever see in your life! Remember to take it easy if you’re using a cartridge. Only 4 stars because I almost died - or did sort of but was pulled back. Thank you Jesus! Have to be in a good mood for this. 😥. Good luck. NOT for beginners!
I deal with insomnia quite often and this definitely helps slow things down and helps me get to sleep faster.
Almost not like being stoned , because there are zero sativa effects, but the pure indica feeling is lovely. Very relaxing, euphoric, sleepy... it just feels more like a gentle sedative than a strain of weed. Sometimes that's exactly what you want though.

More diesel taste mixed with a knocked down sweetness, floral. It's an interesting taste that I haven't found before in 10 years smoking.
Indica with a solid body high. Shoulders and muscles relax within a minute or two of smoking, then felt 20 minutes later in the sensitive skin under your eyes. Transitions to a nose tingling/numbness that progresses to release of head tension. Definitely a slow body high as opposed to hitting you over the head.
It's nice. If you want to try a body-high, this is a good strain. If you like it, get your hands on some Death Star or Starkiller.
First time vaping this strain. Last time I smoked flower of NL I was in my 20s. Great flavor and classic indica buzz.
My wife had a stage 4 brain tumor, she was in alot of pain for the entire process. We found Northern lights and gave it a go. She was finally not in pain, and was able to pass peacefully.
This here TASTES like the year 2007, the last year I had NL with a dash of 1996, the year I fell in LOVE with this strain. It took my mind waaaay back! It's great for chronic pain and rabbit-hole conversations with the high-vibbing folk on a fall evening with some Earth-Wind&Fire jams on low...if you find some, get you some and save a bit too if you're dwelling in the midwest bc this treasure is rare.
