OG Kush reviews

Sturdy smoke. Body high. A tad harsh on the throat. All over pain relief. I got the munchies hard. Aroma: Orange & woody On exhale: Woody musk/men's cologne & pledge Peace & enjoy
Was a nice for my anxiety.
Got my current batch of OG Kush straight from the grower. The buds look really airy and fluffy, but a light squeeze proves otherwise. the calyxes are very strong and densely populated with trichs. This particular pheno has occasional streaks of very vibrant purple, which is supposedly rare. Visible in the picture I've included, but a phone camera can only do so much... When you look at most of the buds from the top, it looks darker than if you look at it from the bottom. The solid orange hairs contrast the buds in a similar manner to chemdawg. this, along with the purple, can create an illusion of the presence of a deep blue hue on the top of the leaves.
The smell is a very earthy sweet (sort of like the morning after a rainy night), combined with a floral perfumey lotiony punch to it. From a distance, you can slightly detect the chemdawg's unique musky smell in your throat, if that makes sense. On the grind, it smells very earthy and almost sickeningly sweet.
The taste is exactly like the smell on the inhale. the earthy sweetness will coat your entire mouth and throat and will linger for quite some time. there's an occasional subtle dull bitterness on the exhale.
it's really hard to notice the bitterness though, because almost instantly you will be all the right kinds of high. the body high is very intense and goes well with the lazy-but-motivated attitude this bud tends to provide. great source of inspiration for beating a whole game or being creative. despite gradually becoming couch-locky, it won't really put you to sleep as effectively as something like purple kush because it will get your brain and heart going.
all in all a great strain, with the onset of a sativa and eventually a lingering high of an indica. the high lasts a very long time and fades away comfortably. the high popularity of this strain comes from it's unique and easily-recognizable smell and from it's A+ superior bag appeal.
Og Kush is another favorite! Great for day or night time chilling, a very good combo of relaxed and energized.
I've been trying numerous strains in the last few years to find the select few that I could rely on time and time over for most of my needs and so far, OG Kush is at the top of the list. It has a very nice balance of an indicah mellow high and an energetic sativa, without any of the downsides.
If I had to describe the high in a short sentence it would be: a smooth trip down goodness lane.
First time trying OG Kush and I have to say I am pleasantly surprised. Not all that strong, but a nice social, talkative yet focused kinda high. Didn't really get into my body, but I can feel the sativa head buzz. Smooth intake, good flavor... light and a bit sweet. Not my all time favorite, but in the top 10!
This strain is good for nerve pain of any kind. It dulls the pain, lowers my blood pressure and helps with Psoriasis induced arthritis. It is a good one for inflammation too.
Good mix of mellow body & head high. One of favorites. Just not favorite taste.
