OG Kush reviews

Definitely one of the best strains I’ve tried so far. Helps with insomnia, hypnic jerks/restless muscles that act up at night, nightmares as well as staying asleep longer and deeper. It also takes some edge off my chronic pain. Has a very calming smell/taste, almost like some kind of tropical fruit. Absolutely would recommend.

My favorite strain! Makes me silly and relaxed.

For starters I'd like to correct Leafly as well as those in the reviews who think "OG" stands for (Original Ganster). It has nothing to with being original or gangster. Very common misconception unless a true die hard old school smoker/grower. The "OG" in OG KUSH actually stands for "OCEAN GROW" or OCEAN GROW KUSH in full. Now that I got that little annoyance out of the way I have been a fan of OG KUSH for a long time. Been toking on this beautiful strain since the 90's. It's not as popular in the dispensaries as it once was so to truly find a nice cut of it that was grown to perfection is not as common. When I do come across one I snag it up. So this one is lime green,covered in trichomes on top of trichomes,with some orange hairs. Big fluffy nugs that have a pungent pine smell with a citrusy and pungent pine flavor that sticks on the tongue several minutes after each toke. I really lucked out this time with a higher than average thc potency at 31% with a 0.2% and change of cbd. I'm a longtime experienced smoker of 30 years and this OG KUSH is one that always works. It's a high that stick to your bones so to speak and has some kefs meaning it actually gets me more than a 20 minute head change like most bud due to my tolerance. I get baked on this one for a couple hours so to the novice or intermediate smoker this strain should blow your doors off so to speak. God bless and happy toking!

Very relaxing on the muscles

This strain is just great for me. Excelent painkiller for migraine, helps also with nausea. Very good antistress effects. I use my own plant (RQS). Very mellow high, happy, relaxed and quite balanced and grounded. It's quite strong, be careful with dosing. Aroma is very strong to overwhelming, citrus, herbal, pine, skunky. New plant is just growing on my terrace 💚

The strongest weed strain i ever got my hands on. . But thank god i got 10 grams of this homegrown. It was insane, the smell was overpowering. Went through many zip locks and even a glass container with metal lid on with plastic around even than the whole room was smelling strong mary jane. Made the whole room smell amazing. It was so oily due to so many THC Crystalls so i had to use scissors in order to break it down. IF i used my fingers i would get so oily and sticky so i had to use strong cleaning products to get it off, lol. It was great to use at the evening due to indica dominant. I prefer to smoke sativa during the day if i do smoke. The high was great, stress relieving, a feel at peace with a nice feeling of tranquility. Made me sleep very good also. It was so well taken care of when she was growing and produced a lovely high.

I’m honestly disappointed, I grabbed a 8th from tru med in phx. No trichomes, no terpens, harsh chemical taste. I’ve had this strain before and it was actually really good, but this grower doesn’t know how to flush properly. I will try again but not from this dispensary.

Got to try this one and wow was it something. Even as I was smoking it I could feel myself shutting off, watching in a child-like awe, entranced by the way the joint is burning. My mental functions were already shutting down and it was only noon. We got food and the munchies hit with this one. Overall I was very slow while high off of the OG kush and I’d be lying if I said I can remember much else. I know that I felt great but I don’t remember the details, that’s for sure
