Skywalker OG reviews

This strain was recommended to me by a bud tender. I grabbed a gram and set my expectations low. I just wanted a nice body buzz strain for alleviating sore muscles. This gram came out of my grinder fluffy and smelling potent. I gave it a whiff, and encountered herby hancock galore. Very intense odor...Rolled her in a long white dress, and lit her on fire. Depending on your tolerance, expect mild to intense euphoria and body sensations. Taste of this strain is rich and spicy. The euphoria is over in about 30 mins, and what remains is a gentle body buzz that lasts me hours. So, I’d say I received the indica-dom variant. Still looking for the Sativa-dom strain. i picked up a co2 oil cartridge of this strain a few days ago and can honestly say it’s my new favorite! indicas are best for my PTSD/anxiety and this did not disappoint - a nice heavy body high and calm euphoria without drowsiness. i’m able to go about my morning with my kiddo anxiety free and it helps my back pain and headaches, too. i highly recommend this strain for anyone with PTSD or physical pain.

Historically my experience with cannabis has not been particularly enjoyable - whatever it is about my physical make up just seems to trigger all of the negative attributes of a strain instead of the positive. Until now. I had managed to severely strain my back during a chaotic episode with a Boston Terrier puppy and a 15 year old Chihuahua and the tension and pain was just not going away. All the typical OTC painkillers weren't even making a dent in the cycle of pain-anxiety about the pain-more pain. After three days I knew I had to either go to urgent care and deal with the subsequent insurance payment or consider an alternative. A quick read here on Leafly and an equally quick trip down to the nearby dispensary (Hashtag in Redmond) I had myself a tidy gram of Skywalker OG from Jet City Gardens. Starting with tentative hits off a small glass chillum I discovered that this strain was not giving me any of what I consider the more serious effects, like anxiety. Even the hunger feeling was very mild. So I went big to get the full effects. Almost immediately I could feel my shoulders dropping as my muscles started to relax. I also continued to feel alert. In fact, I had recently started playing Kerbal Space Program and kept failing to make it into orbit. Ironically, soon after my first proper dose of Skywalker I made better calculations and was able to achieve orbit in the game. Most importantly, it relaxed my back enough to give me a break from the constant spasms. The tension and pain isn't completely gone during the duration of the strain's effects, but it far more tolerable and I can get things done. tl;dr review - Recommended for the following: - Few side effects (mild hunger) - Very relaxing - Moderate pain relief (muscle strain in this case) - Clear-headedness - Creativeness - Sense of well-being

YO! Skywalker OG packs a punch of sleep. After about 20 minutes depending on your tolerance of a head high, a strong, powerful body high comes on that immobilizes you and puts you in that “spacey” high. You get lost in your thoughts and feelings and are kind of just a sleepy, mindless person lost in their thoughts. Now, this may sound negative but this strain really does have its benefits. It is wonderful for insomnia or for relaxation before bed time. Recreationally, I honestly don’t recommend it unless you handle sleepy strains well. This strain really knocks you our, so you have to either be good with indicas or smoke before bed time which is kind of limiting of this strain’s usage. All in all, good relaxation strain that will put one to sleep in no time.

It's funny that since the name is a Star Wars reference, I never cared much to pick up Skywalker strains at dispensaries. This is a solid strain tho and could easily be a staple for me. The taste is pleasantly piney with that hearty kush earthiness. The buds are gummy and dense. The high is uplifting and giggly at the onset, afterward it turns into a functional stone.It puts me on an even keel, I feel calm and alert with a nice buzz behind my eyes.

I have to write another raving review about this strain after buying this last oz I bought. These are some of the prettiest flowers and buds I have ever seen. Very light green (like a mint green or even a neon green) completely covered in white resin. The smell of this batch is a powerful aroma of sweet fruit (from the Blueberry in the Skywalker part of this glorious OG Kush hybrid), along with a very strong scent of diesel fuel. The smoke is clean and crisp with a sweet taste on the inhale and most of an earthy diesely taste on the exhale. The high is a classic two part experience. The first wave comes on fast (almost immediately) which is more of a relaxed and calming euphoric sensation which is mostly cerebral. Then the second wave comes in like creeper weed about 10-15 mins after smoking with the body buzz. Awesome strain; I can’t say enough good things about it. It has certainly lived up to its legendary name as Skywalker OG definitely has the force with it!

This strain is extremely euphoric and is very numbing.
