Welcome to yet another week of Mike's Saturday smoke! I saw the name and did not hesitate on making the order (I'm a simple man). I was definitely NOT disappointed when it arrived and I cracked open that container it blessed my nose with a VERY fragrant gas/diesel smell as well as a strong floral/berry smell. While the buds themselves are very sticky and moist, it smokes very cleanly, especially in a joint it gives a nice clean white ash. Your mouth almost numbs from the insanely potent aroma that comes off this bud. The smoke it produces definitely is a heavier hitter, leaving most of my friends getting higher by the cough! One of the first things I noticed as soon as I took my first hit, as someone who's always fidgeting - I stopped almost immediately, and felt stress free, and relaxed. The Yoda OG has a noticable anti anxiety effect, as well as reported anti inflammatory properties and also will help increase your appetite (or give you unsatiable munchies like me). This is definitely not a strain you want to be smoking if you have things to do. Even as an experienced smoker I found it hard to focus after a few hits of this stuff. It'll definitely have no trouble putting you to sleep for the night which is a bonus for me. Yoda OG has easily and quickly become in my top pick of strains because of all of its immediate and fast acting properties, delicious taste and pungent powerful smell.

I think that this strain was the only strain that actually helped me with my problems, the others just got me faded lol

Comes on rather quickly and intensely in the head. Not unlike Fire OG. Also similar to the strain Headband in that it’s there’s physical pressure on the forehead. It’s peppy and racy like a shot of espresso. Being outside helped ease that effect. There’s definitely some mood elevation, but it’s in the background because the other aspects of the high overwhelm it. Numbs the brain out in a way that makes thinking/concentrating difficult. Was hard to think and be productive at work. I appreciate how there’s an indomitable confidence in the background. Music is elevated a bit, but it’s easy to do better.

With every new strain I try...I will smoke a joint of it to get the baseline flavors, aromas, and effects.....after all, that was how I cut my teeth into this hobby. Noted wonderful flavors of floral hints....sweet and smooth....almost creamy.....no harshness to speak of! When describing the aromas of Yoda OG.....I kept thinking to myself.....this is what a marijuana flower should smell like....pines, flowers, forest, pungent herbs.....pleasant to the senses.....although, the “pungent” will stick to you for a while. Just to bring everything to speed....I obtained this strain from Reef Dispensary (Las Vegas Strip branch)....21% thc....sold only in 1 gram jars....bought 28 jars worth....I loved those tiny sealed jars.....I can bring them anywhere with me....total cost was $270 (tax included.) I smoked only half of the “pin” joint....for taste testing purposes. The effects were potent....I felt the head-lock sensation immediately.....followed by a sedative restraint to my limbs. I was waiting for the “Indica” effects of total body sedation....however, my mind started wondering around the universe of my room.....I kept waiting for the sleepy portion of the Yoda OG....but to no avail. No anxiety....no paranoia....no munchies. Oh yeah.....sex was great with the wife. Bottom line.....enjoy this strain for its potency, aromas, and flavors.....don’t expect to sleep anytime soon with Yoda OG. And yes, thankfully......absolutely no “Yoda-speak” in this review....which got really old, really fast.
