This is my favorite dispensary. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The products are all very good. And I think they have the best prices in town. They are connected to the only MM clinic in Salem in town and are a fantastic resource.

It's about a 20-25 minute drive (one way), and there are certainly other places closer, but THC Recreation Station is hands down my favorite to shop at. Always something on sale, and a decent sale at that. I have yet to encounter anybody working here that was unfriendly. My shop of choice!

I liked that shop has an humbling atmosphere and not just about weed, great selection compared to other places, and the staff are incredibly nice. Not nice like im here being paid nice... im talking genuinely nice people. They have a large selection of edibles and a large selection of other things outside of flower or wax. Great place, excellent first impression in the store.

I came in and homeboy asked me what I was looking for and I said I want something good and cheap- he pulls out a bag labeled banana z by Kerby kush farms for $24- and it’s a full oz of some decent nugs that smell and taste amazing- then he says”we always have oz’s at that price but they aren’t always this nice” and then tells us all the discounts we can get on other plants so I bought 2 1/2 g pre-rolls of some gg4 that in flower would cost double- made it my new favorite dispensary

I ordered online, they had a great special going. When I walked in, the lady checking ID's was a bit mmm, rude. Not welcoming, I will clarify. Getting in the back, the peeps in there where much friendlier. As a first time customer, I was impressed they opened my prepared order and went over it, however, I was just as disappointed, as a medical card holder, they hadn't gotten my order correct. The flower is great. Price is good. People are mere humans... I will try them once more, BC of specials/deals, only.

Hello Chelle0420, my name is Loren and my wife and I own THC Recreation Station and 1st Step Clinic. We are one of the oldest dispensaries in Oregon and certainly Salem. Our dispensary has served OMMP Patients since October 2013 and our clinic has done OMMP Patients Registrations since 2012. Most of us, our family and staff are medical patients. I am glad that my staff caught the mistake with your pickup order before you got to or through checkout. I believe that there was the wrong cookie in the pre-bagged order and that they had to retrieve the correct cookie for you. Thank you for telling us that you were impressed with our diligence in opening your order up and checking to make sure it was right. Many of our vendors' products are quite similar in packaging and this is true with the SDK cookie brand. It looks like you online ordered the Hemp CBD Chocolate Chip and my staff loaded the near identical THC cookie by mistake. We watched video and understand that you had wait a few minutes for that switch to take place. As you say, we are all human and make mistakes and trust me my staff works hard, loves our patients and customers and will take your review to heart. As you might guess we were busy with this sales event which is running for over a week! And, we are that small mom&pop independent so our little house gets quite busy and crowded. Also, I understand that our "Cheers" like atmosphere and cottage type building is not the "atmosphere" for every one. I am glad that our sales "peeps" were friendly. I did check with our front desk, showed her the video of you coming in and asked our receptionist what happened last night at around 7pm. She said that you entered the store and turned your back to her while you possibly were adjusting your clothing. She went on to say that she welcomed you and entered your patient information and then got you into the sales area; nothing unusual. I have to say that she gets glowing reviews and others appreciate that she is not only attentive, open and caring but also a person of color. But if you want to "clarify" I am ready to listen. I love this dispensary so much!!! It’s by far the best one in Salem! All their flower is always top quality and they have the best deals too!
