This stinks. I’ve been coming to Ascend Collinsville since IL allowed the recreational use of cannabis. I sat through 6 hour lines in the beginning and never complained because the staff was always so warm and welcoming. I continued coming here through the pandemic because they responded appropriately. And then this happened.
I purchased an AiroPro northern lights cartridge and was looking forward to using it. I am a student with chronic pain so my funds are always low, but I splurge on purchases at Ascend because I find the pain relief unbeatable. Well, I received a defective cartridge and very politely tried to request a refund. I never used the cartridge and provided pictures of my receipt and purchase just like they asked me to. I was ignored for a week until I decided to text them for confirmation that my email was received. It was apparent no one bothered to read it until this morning. The Ascend rep replied stating there was no proof of a cartridge irregularity, I wouldn’t be able to receive a refund, and I wouldn’t be able to replace my cartridge.
Now, some people may be comfortable using a seemingly defective cartridge and some people may be fine losing $60 on a bum purchase. I am not one of those people. My fiancé and I have spent thousands of dollars buying product here and it stinks that we’ll now have to find another dispensary.
