Ascend Cannabis - Montclair (Med)

Ascend in Montclair is a disorganized mess right now, totally unprepared for adult-use recreational sales. Its prices are worse than RISE in Bloomfield, which is already too high. Ascend doesn't give senior discounts; RISE does, 10%. And RISE has more product discounted than Ascend. My biggest complaint, and it's really something the state should clamp down on, is that the labeling is illegible. You don't know what you are buying. It's clearly in violation of the law and the state should step in and regulate Ascend, punishing it if necessary, for its deceptive labeling.

I've been going here for the past say five years never had a problem once they start changing names products started false advertising percentages .all the employees besides Jasmine are absolutely slow in the head they do nothing about marijuana they know nothing about what it does how it makes you feel

They sold me flower that is 15 months old from harvest date, 13 months old from package date. Purchased on 02/15/2022, harvested on 11/16/2020. Just pretty mutch the worst thing they could possibly do in my eyes. Never again!

Love their point system & extensive menu. However, would NEVER EVER purchase any of their own products. Tried some, their “white widow” for example, is a rip off. The bud was wet/damp, not trimmed, with a 3% THCa selling 8ths for 60$ . That is not right. I felt like I was back in 2010 and someone sold me oregano . So disappointing. It’s been over 2 years now & we never went back.

Staff is amazing , they no how to make you feel right at home.

Pro: World class staff; knowledgeable, patient, pleasant and always kind. They take the shame out of purchasing and using cannabis. Con: No patient restroom.

My only dislikes are that it doesn't look anyone is there because of the nontransparent windows and this app doesn't really keep up with them. Your best chance is to look at their actual website.

No issue with products but I hate the new set up even more than the old set up. No waiting area, no space. I dedicated parking and a lot of waiting out on the street - though not as bad as it used to be under previous management. The whole town doesn’t need to see me waiting on the sidewalk to go in. Lack of discretion. But I live nearby so this is the most convenient to get to.

I love that they have east coast sour diesel

Recently changed names and maybe companies? First time I’ve been there and it was super positive. Clean and friendly staff.
