Callie's Cannabis Shoppe (RiNo)

So I’ll admit that I’m an out of town-er, but I smoke often and know what I do and don’t like. This place was specifically recommended as the “place for stoners” and somewhere that I absolutely had to check out. While I often present a challenge for budtenders, I try to ask for recommendations and give them the opportunity to flex their product knowledge and tastes. Admittedly, this place was awesome. Just waiting to be let in, the other customer and I laughed as we heard glowing reviews from a staff member about a particular product. Just from that moment alone, I was already impressed. I care a lot about what I put in my body and to hear staff be that passionate made me excited to see what they recommend. The woman I spoke to there was amazing. She was extremely friendly, warm, and kind and more than happy to provide recommendations. I gave her my criteria and she ran with it. I ended up with such a bigger variety than I thought I would and would honestly just go back again for her recommendations alone. I’m sorry I don’t remember her name but she was super bubbly and talked a lot about how she liked the designs on the resin gummies. One product she gave a glowing review for were the house brand “dog walkers”. I absolutely loved the clamshell package with all of the joints and provided matches organized inside. Despite their small size they pack a punch so be careful smoking more than one at once. Next time I’m in town, this is the first place I’m going and the place I’ll recommend to all of my friends who smoke as well.

I just discovered Botanico a couple of months ago because they have a special $5 grams. I like to have a variety on hand so I'd rather pick up 3-4 grams of different strains instead of an 1/8th of just one. They have a bunch of strains I've never heard of which can be interesting but I like to check them out & read reviews and most of them can't be found anywhere online so don't go in expecting any geno info or any info at all, actually. Most of the strains are labeled with very high thc content, the last one I got was djc? 36% thc? I just don't pay attention to the labels anymore and go by sight & smell. They only carry hybrids which is perfect for me and seems to be the trend these days anyway. The only negatives I can think of are some of the budtenders seem as if they'd rather be anywhere else but talking to you and have no more info on genetics etc. than anyone else. Maybe I'm just not "hip" enough for the Rhino district lol. I try to pick a female when I go in, they're alot friendlier and more knowledgeable imao. I also smoked a gram joint of strawberry cough from there once and didn't catch the slightest hint of a buzz but that was an anomaly. The Wedding Cake there is awesome and I'd recommend Shooting Star, Jabba OG, Magik, Cali flo, and Collins something or other ( I can't remember the rest of the name and it's nowhere online anyway ) Their Redheaded Stranger is also fantastic. All in all the atmosphere is clean and professional, and thier exotic strains are cool but the budtenders are hit & miss. Maybe that will change when they discontinue $5 grams and rid themselves of older, uncool, undesirables like me lol. Can't imagine what would happen if a homeless person walked in there

There are many times we as a species might experience true joy. Be it when a child is born, overcoming an adversity, or sitting on a clean warm toilet seat. Another time that can be mentioned is when you walk into Botanico. All of the bud-tenders are friendly here. Their "chill" demeanor will make you want to come back. Which is understandable, Botanico is where the cool kids hang. Their knowledge of marijunana will make you think Plato or Socrates taught them themselves. Even the security guards are friendly. Their presence ensures no raiding parties, wild beasts, or demi gods will cause harm. LET'S GET TO THE BUD THOUGH. The selection of bud is quite delicious. I've traveled to mordor and back just to try some of Botanico's strains. Your taste buds will be pleased once they endure a flavor explosion. Customers have the option of using an express lane which allows you to run in and out and make it back home for momma's casserole. If you have time, a budtender will wine and dine you. They'll show you their wide selection, and you might fall in love. Yes love. It is real. All in all this is my spot. I like the bud, the budtenders (there are some beautiful women that work. inside and out I can tell. I'm a jedi.), and the atmosphere.
