the people has always been great never understood why people yell at them cause there weed was dry. not there fault . everyone thinks that all medical stores use to let u pick your own buds there's only one store like that not no more since COVID . Neta was the place so yell at the person that owns the store I see there has not been no reviews since 2022. . it use to be my go to place but it's not worth the 20.00 a month free credit for the same weed since they opened up years ago. change the weed please. I can't believe u guys stuck with the same kind .
Recreational stores are making medical stores look bad recreational has a 2 hour delivery time same day never had that with medical there's 2 delivery stores but only 2 or 3 days a week.
come on medical stores pick up the pace read a book on the best weed of the year but please change your weed.

For medical, It's not a bad place but definitely not the best neither. plenty of more preferable places with better deals and selections in the nearby area. Good quality but limited products, some of my faves include the Cinderella 99 and the THC 14ml tinctures. The only reason i continue to come here is for their AWESOME monthly 2x $10 transportation credit and some low priced items! If they stop that, there would kinda be no reason for me to come here anymore. as other people have pointed out, VERY DEEPLY DISSAPOINTING that they discontinued every promotion they had. I never got to take advantage of the promo deals. i recently became a patient and i wasn't really wowed by their specials or point system. my old new patient deal wasn't honored, the staff didnt even know what i was talking about despite the information on their site. their site is badly outdated. seems Columbia Care doesn't really care. sad they took out the review discount, recycling program, and other things. other places offer $200 in credit vouchers for example this place only does $50 off $150 purchase. Very upsetting this place was the only place that had NO specials for 4th of July. They also lack their OWN product such as the $14 tinctures. as i said, the $10 credit is the only reason to take a look at this place, if they take that away this place will close, unless they go adult use + medical.
I've been a patient of Patriot Care's for years now. Never been a problem until today. I called the dispensary (ahem, retail location - I'll get to that in a bit) as I had run out of money for the month and had gone unmedicated for a while and was wondering what sort of credits I had from my many purchases. I was told I had two $10 transportation credits, which they technically could not apply both at once (which has been standard for PC over the years) BUT since I was a longtime patient, and known by the retail location, that to come in anyway and they'd be able to make an exception this one time. I travelled from Waltham to Boston and was warmly welcomed by the person who I had talked to on the phone and let in upon showing my cards.
This is where it gets cruel.
I had ordered 2 pre-rolls, which amount to $16.00 without any discounts. I asked the cashier, after full confidence from the front desk person, if I could apply both transportation credits since I had traveled miles and lapsed on medication, and that I didn't actually have cash. The cashier asked a manager, who I have known for literally years, who then looked at me as if I was a completely new face and said "I'm sorry honey (pandering), we can only apply one." Fair enough, I asked to instead get one preroll covered by the one transportation credit I could theoretically use. I was then told I had to spend money to use the transportation credit. And all the while, Nellie the main manager (who also knows me by name and for years) was standing right there, watching it go all down, and did nothing.
Patriot Care have lost their regard for the "medical patient" and simply treat their retail location which they call a medical dispensary as any cash retail store. You don't have the pay, you don't 'get to play'. I don't see any of this as 'play' and haven't for years, but I am quickly finding out "medical" is a farce. Nowhere is this more evident than Patriot Care Boston.

awesome place. definitely my go to dispensary. love the mac n cheese strain. staff is amazing. can't wait to see the finished product when renovation is done. keep up the awesome work patriot care. thank you.

Great conversations with the staff, lots of variety in the cartridges. The transportation credit is another plus. First time visiting, definitely will be back!
Totally sucks that recycling, spin the wheel, and reviews credit is all gone. People making these decisions I'm convinced do not smoke weed. Bad move....

Patriot Care is located in the heart of Boston close to the Post Office at 31 Milk Street. A short walk from the Park Street T-station. Sulgrave Newsstand, Ogawa Coffee, and Cosi are across the street and there is a CVS in eyesight.
PC is a secured location with a guard/attendant who requests your IDs and then allows you to go to the receptionist's window. Nice guy. The woman at the window was polite and friendly. She requests your IDs again and order info. Then you are buzzed into the patient waiting area that feels more like a lounge with the soulful R&B music playing. Next, you fill out a pair of forms that are mainly quick repeats of basic info. Then you are buzzed into the dispensary. Surprisingly, with all that....no wait time.
The dispensary is basically a large room designed to be a checkout line with COVID-19 decor, like everywhere. The checkout process is also the two ID, order confirmation. Simple and easy. The cashier/specialist was very knowledgeable and forthcoming about the differences in products. He was also patient with my questions and gave expert responses.
One of his several suggestions was the Chocolate Oranges, which was right on point based on what I needed. The specialist also gave me detailed product information on new products, several things I asked about, plus his own reviews. He also gave me recommendations for upgrading vape cartridges, saving money, preparations and using different products from grinders and automatic rollers to vape pens and batteries. I learned a lot in a short time.
I'm really happy with the quality of the products and the excellence of the service which allowed the process to flow with ease. I'm impressed with the education I received and grateful for the specialist who guided me to $60 savings also. I'll enjoy my mother's birthday pain-free today. Effortless experience.

I have been going to the Boston Location for over 2 years and I have tried others but I find my self back at this location pretty often. The staff is nice and friendly and knowledgeable. I like to say I know them all even though I don't know all the names. Keep up the good work and thank you for all of your suggestions and assistance.

Some of the best flower in the state. The location can be stressful, but they try to compensate in various ways like travel stipends. Take care of disabled vets and vets as good as any of the other MA dispensaries. Unfortunately, my wife had one of their security guards discriminate against her, try to deceive her, and resulted with just a stubborn intimidation meant to get her to leave, not allowing her to communicate to anyone else on the staff.
He refused her entry when she was trying to get her medicine. For whatever reason he did not allow her to enter, and argued she was sick with COVID-19. She repeatedly told him she was not sick, she had not been sick, and had not been around anyone who was sick.
Like already mentioned the location is not ideal. Especially, if one is just making the trip to the dispensary, so getting denied for discriminatory reasons is angering. This complaint was never serious handled. Patriotcare was very uncaring and somewhat disrespectful in their handling of this situation.
My wife has since boycotted their establishment, not just because her feelings were hurt, but because their terrible treatment created a traumatic event that serves as a trigger. This only strengthened and reinforced with how the upper management disregarded her complaint. They could have cared less and basically told her she was ridiculous.
I heard the lady she was speaking with. My wife had her on speaker. So I get it if you like certain products they do, because they are good. My advice to others is just simply, if you can get some where else, you should. Business ethics like these should not occur, and especially with businesses that provide medicine to patients.
