More about the artist: Latine artist, Paula Flores, explores the complexity of nature. She mixes organic and industrial materials—even putting real leaves and other living things into her art. Through an often colorful palette, she seeks to solve environmental problems by enhancing interspecies communication. Born in Mexico, Paula is currently working in Austria. The original of her painting, Grass Level, was first exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego. Portions of the proceeds will support the artist and the Pachamama Alliance, a nonprofit that partners with indigenous people of the Amazon to preserve their lands and culture, and training people everywhere to bring climate justice to their communities.
