Was a Long time patient, upgraded the store to be.. oh, so modern, but the quality of their bud on display isn’t the same quality of the bud you purchase. Which is now prepackaged, you literally don’t even get to pick out your medicine any more. Bud was a lot better before upgrade and on top of that now there’s tax added? I just went to Lansing... Saturday. no tax. You think they’d start that first? Guess not. It’s not worth the miles or the money anymore. After 2 disappointing run-ins these past few months, I will definitely continue to travel up north an extra 48 miles for Lansings prices and quality.
Dispensary response:
Yes we upgraded our facility to make it a better shopping experience. With the new state laws there is a 6% Sales tax and a 3% excise tax on all products sold in the facility. Every facility has to pay these taxes with the new MMFLA laws. The 3% excise tax that we are paying into the state is included in the price of the product, but the sales tax is just that. A sales tax. It's either we up our prices to include the sales tax, or just charge it on top of the lower price. We chose to just charge it instead. I really hope you get the medical needs you need. Not much has changed..they are still running business like the monopoly they used to be...many new places will be opening soon ...one is open now! ...I suggest you visit and learn what a valued customer really is! Ps also have a working ATM and restroom...menu updated daily..stop cheating your self...you now have a choice..make it the right one for you..this I say after 4 yrs of Jc3
