Of all the dispensaries I've been to, this is by far my least favorite. Three different incidents were disappointing. 1. Several weeks after they opened, I did a walk-in. Having checked the inventory on Leafly, it seemed they had a number of items that looked interesting. After a 30 minute wait in the lobby, I was led in to the store to find they had several strains of flower available for Rec and that was it. When I expressed my confusion about the inventory on Leafly, the gentleman said, "Oh, you can't trust the inventory on Leafly." Then don't display it there... 2. For the next visit, I decided to try curbside. An hour or so after placing my order, I received a text indicating that the order was ready for pickup. I drove over and, from the time I pulled into the pickup spot until I received my order, the wait was 50 minutes. There was a steady stream of traffic but the store did not seem overwhelmed with cars; there was generally one pickup spot open during the entire 50 minutes. 3. For the third experience, someone picked up an oil cartridge for me. Personally, I hate the fact that everything is a blend with no idea what the actual contents are. But, having said that, the price was a little bit better for .5g than the other local Rec stores, so I decided to give it a try. I have never had a cart plug up so often or so soon. The thing isn't even half empty and it is clogging every time I set it down. Note that I actually store the cart standing up in hopes of avoiding clogging but it makes no difference. On rare occasions, other carts will clog but it's usually toward the end, as the cart is getting close to empty. These folks are not worth the hype or the time.

Lume Cannabis Co. – Kalamazoo
Ratings and reviews of Lume Cannabis Co. – Kalamazoo
I've been to Lume a few times (a few times in-store, and the last time through the drive-through). I recommend that you purchase your items online before arriving if you are sure to what product you want. If not, then the staff seem friendly and most things are described pretty well, but I feel like you generally wait longer to get into the store and to make a purchase. I know what product and price I want to spend, so I have always used their website to purchase before arriving. They have have never had issues finding my order. I waited about 15 minutes in the drive-through with about 8 cars in front of me. Hardly a wait, and well worth it. They are very organized! From what I got the buds are always fresh and the containers are sealed. I've never found large stems or seeds, and the buds have a distinct Lume size/look which sets them apart from other brands. The buds are fluffy and trichomes large. The indicas are especially large and set themselves apart from other Michigan bud right now. Their sativas have similar traits and you can tell they are from Lume (or their growers). I also purchased some sugar and it has great aroma and flavor. Best prices around at $45 a gram. The Jenny Kush is some of the best concentrate I've had in awhile. Check out Lume ASAP
Well, I had nothing better to do on a Saturday night than to be price gauged on mediocre product so I thought I'd head over to Lume. I placed my order online around 8:00 pm and received an email that it was ready about 5 minutes later. I arrived shortly thereafter to an insane line of cars which I already expected due to driving past the place previously. This was approximately 8:15 pm. There were three cars behind mine when they closed off the lot to new customers. One hour later, I finally was approached by an associate who asked if someone had taken my ID. I said no and was then told that I would have to come back tomorrow to pick up my order that had been ready for the last hour! What the hell?? How is this any way to transact business? What was the point of closing the lot off? If close to 9:00 pm you knew you weren't going to be able to get to the remaining vehicles, how about issuing a notice via text/email with a damn apology for poor planning and some sort of remedy to the situation. I immediately cancelled my order. What a piss poor way to run a dispensary. I've been in the legal industry for over 10 years and have worked with dozens of operators across the country from Harborside to Om. I've never been so confounded by terrible management. The entire experience at Lume was so atrocious I will not be returning to this or any of their locations. The COO had previously stated "Our goal is to ensure every customer has an amazing experience every time they come in.” Ha, good luck! I will be frequenting our LOCALLY OWNED AND OPERATED stores from now on rather than giving another dime to this grossly mismanaged corporate behemoth.
The quality of the weed I bought was very, very poor. I grow my own stuff and have done for several years. I wanted to try a new strain to me, but the junk they sold me I would not even give away if I could fine someone to take it. Plus I do not believe the stuff I got was really what they told me it was. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BOTHER WITH THIS PLACE.
The $30 eighths are a good deal, if everything isn't sold out. Really irritating that they didn't want to honor the 5-10-15 percent off deals listed on Leafly. They gave me the discount when I pressed them, but told me not again. If you don't want to offer the discount, don't offer it!
Waste of time for medical patients..only looking to bank on recreational. 10 rec strains 1 medical and of course med is $20 a gram...RIPOFF!!!
Went to Lume today an hour before close for the first time. After waiting for 45 mins I was then approached by whom I assume to be Mario,(budtender on my receipt) with a “what do you want “ and a hand out to grab my card and ID, may I also mention this man wasn’t wearing a mask and got my name wrong twice. I waited another 15 mins for a man who was nicer and sent me off with my product(I will not shoot the messenger he was kind) , which was nicely packaged and smelled and tasted great. That environment was not a selling point , I will not be back.
I can only speak to the quality of vape carts and edibles as I don’t smoke and am new to vaping. In fact, I’m totally new to med. cannabis. I loved the clean atmosphere with a more modern Asian aesthetic. My bud tender asked specific questions regarding the health conditions I was treating and what strains of vape carts I had tried that helped even slightly. He then suggested two vape carts in strains I wasn’t familiar with. He said they would be less harsh on my lungs as a newbie. He was spot on. Northern Berry helped me quiet my mind, control pain, relax to drift off to sleep. Everyone was very professional here and the packaging was very nondescript, making it easy to run other errands and not worry about someone breaking into my SUV. I definitely will be returning. The only thing I would have liked was privacy as a new pot user so I could ask questions and not feel stupid with a bunch of other ppl who could hear me.
Product is perfect. Service is friendly and nice. Very busy after work time.
I love how quick and attentive they are to orders. Also love the txting updates letting me know my order was received and when its finished. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. Product is top notch. I look forward to seeing the store after the pandemic!!!
I got my medical license in 2015 and this is the best dispensary I ever visited.
Great location, curbside has been been fast and easy. Good selection, staff is very helpful and friendly. Nice smoke 👍🏼
For some reason they can’t do preorders over the phone but curbside orders are fine.
Took absolutly forever to get my order in and out to me 35 mins when i am the only person in the parking lot is insane
I love it at lume best service and best concentrate around for great price.
Everyone is so caring here. The people are great, and know what helps with whatever your needing. My husband has cancer and they knew just what to recommend to help with his loss of appetite.
Lume has been amazing! Right now they are med and rec and being med user, you get right in. Ask for Tommy, he knows his stuff and a character.
As a 50 year old lifetime smoker, my experience at Lume seriously blew my mind. I've had my medical card for years and have been to many dispensaries in both Michigan and Colorado. Lume is on a whole differet level. The options they have available are staggering. I've had experiences in the past where the young staff is a bit snobby abo ut my lack of knowledge. I did NOT have that experience here. Rachel was the coolest and very patient with me in explaining what's new and wonderful in weed today. I'm very much looking forward to my next visit!
I love Lume but their new pick up line is ridiculous. Don’t bother placing your order ahead of time because you’re still going to wait an hour plus in the line with everyone who didn’t preorder. Meaning you are waiting for them to order then for their order to be ready until you are helped. The bud tenders are nice for the most part. Shout out to Sam, she’s the coolest. Please figure out a new system so customers who preorder aren’t waiting so long.
The brownie I got here has really helped my sleep. Prices are decent and service is good :)
worst mac5 i have ever had and you forgot my prerolls again!
Fantastic staff!! I was a first time patient having issues with my card and they went above and beyond to give me a great experience.
By far the worst bud in the county. Kalamazoo has some good options but nothing like they have in Portage. Thakful for delivery these days 100%
First time visit today. The place was awesome, the staff was friendly, and the herb was top notch. My budtender Tommy was super helpful. Will definitely be back.
