This has quickly become my favorite dispensary in the area, but tonight I had such a different experience than normal. I purchased my items which came to a total of $36. I was charged $37, so I asked why I was charged an extra dollar and he said for the exit bag. I was annoyed that I was charged without being told so I went to my car and found one and went back in and said "hey, I found another bag, I just wanted to return it". He rudely told me that he couldn't do returns. Which I do understand, but I wasn't even told about the charge prior to my money being taken so I figured I could just get my dollar back, I had only been gone for a minute. He continued being extremely rude and repeating useless things I clearly understood like the OLCC law of needing a child proof bag, which I had. After all this trouble, I was clearly upset - not only by losing money, but just how poorly I was treated at this place I loved. The super sweet girl working with short blonde hair came out and offered to talk to me about it and sympathized with me and that he should've at the very least informed me of the charge. She then took a dollar out of her own wallet and gave it to me <3 I so sincerely hope she gets reimbursed or else that'd be so shitty of them. I still plan on coming to this store because everyone else I've experienced has been so kind and wonderful. I just hope this at least is taken as a learning opportunity on customer service because nobody should have to leave the dispensary nearly in tears just because of a dollar. :(

Josh...this employee is one of the MOST FRIENDLY genuinely sincere person, ready to help and give his expert advice on anything you need....I swear if it wasn't for Josh's customer service and great personality. I wouldn't take the time to write this review. I personally don't know him. But could see myself hanging out with him because of his kick ass personality...he is respectful and polite too. #Respect 💯💯💯 I hope his bosses recognize his efforts and hard work cuz as a random customer I SURE DID. This is what i remember things were like BEFORE the Recreational market changed most 'Multi Location Dispensaries" into unwelcoming spaces for Medical Patients. I was helped by Leeann. She was of great benefit. Not just another Budtender who thinks they know marijuana due to the fact they smoke it.. She ACTUALLY KNEW HER PRODUCT AND SCIENCE! I used to shop here, but left when edible prices went through the roof. I am back for their $75 Oz, the atmosphere and the educated budtender. Thank you Kip. The owner. You kept your dream. Last time I was here I was under the weather and so was my partner. I was looking at sodas or edibles since smoking was a little painful at the time and the owner/budtender recommended the best Hush Syrup! It really helped, he was super nice and friendly. Had a great experience all around.

I didn't even buy anything and this is my favorite dispensary so far. If there is one dispensary that you have to go to, it's Marijuana Paradise. I was just there yesterday, I didn't even buy anything because I'm broke, but I'm considering going back today! Dez is a gosh dang sweetheart, but a GD boss as well! She is doing her thing, seemingly following her dream and running a mom and pop with the utmost respect for cannabis. That is my kind of dispensary! All sorts of beautiful superstar strains from amazing growers and even quite a few "novelty" strains too (my favorite). Rare strains you know? Even as I was leaving, Dez too the time took the time to stop for a minute and ask me about a story I had touched on earlier. Not even really related to cannabis. She showed me that she is in this for the love. If I could afford to shop here every day (you pay for what you get here, and you get the best) I would. Thanks MP!

Cool Irie Hawiian beach bar vibe, and I like that the owner showcases his surfboards, and helpful but slow staff. They have a good edible and concentrate selection too, but I found the quality of the flower mediocre at best, it was actually terrible. I asked if the flower was older, as it was decayed dry and dingy overly dried yellowed and withered and weak in its appearance. I had a feeling it was old bottom shelf the infamous tell tale smell of stale hay, maybe it was just the particular container it thought initially, but they all smelled and looked similar. Whenever I detect a musky hay smell it's an indicator that the weed has been sitting around too long and often garbage. I give the bud rating a C- for Portland standards. It smokes smoked rather harshly, and the terpene profile was diminished as it was harsh and dry, and I just know it was not a true 28% THC test rating as indicated. I bought a pre roll of OG kush, must've been stood for OLD GANJA! I looked on test tube and just as I suspected it was a year and two weeks old! I Any weed sitting at room temperature for 54 weeks claiming 28% THC is nowhere near fresh nor accurate in its misleading and unacceptable. This was a $1-$2 joint, and priced at $5 for medical patients. I find a 10% discount for first time medical patients stingy. I will not be going back as I think this place should really step up the quality of the flower, or at least not display buds that looks and smoke like like sun burnt greenhouse weed, not high end top shelf organic indoor. They must lower their prices if they are going to pedal stale withered, leafy, weed that looks more like old sun trim that has been sitting in a container for nine months rather than freshly harvested dank nuggets in October!

This is my favorite shop in Portland! Awesome friendly service, great atmosphere. I had a cartridge leak and they replaced it with an even better one! Really impressed!
