The Botanist - Egg Harbor Township (Med)

I’m a medical patient. It took me a long time to find out what worked for me. Years I’d say. But when you’re in chronic pain that only gets worse, you have to take a painkiller. I have to or I can’t function. But the pills cause nausea. I have arthritis too and my joints hurt. The gummies that I get from The Botanist ACTUALLY WORK. I read so many reviews about them not getting high and that the shake was the worst. I started on flower & I was very very green. The Botanist explained to me this would be trial and error. I found what works for me. I have a decent tolerance & yet a gummy and a half just kicked in so I am going to relax. Good Luck to all. I had some Tyson bites and some Verano.

I called the botanist a few months ago about the verano item I bought that wasn’t even sealed from the inside and out. It was noticeably short and when I weighed it, long behold 2.3 grams. Calibrated my scale multiple times and still the same weight. The person who I spoke to said that is impossible because everything is very closely monitored. Today 6/9/23, I go to the botanist and get an 1/8 th of purple pinner smalls by verano. Get back home and this time it’s fully sealed. I open it and the jar is totally empty. I never seen that in my life. That’s stealing where I come from and this is getting ridiculous. The people selling these products apparently are using to much of their own supply. Paid like $45 for an empty bottle!! That’s ridiculous.

I’ve always had a good experience with the botanist. Wonderful staff! Lately, I’ve noticed that they don’t offer much for adult use. With MPX opening in Atlantic City and another dispensary being built on route 30 on the Whitehorse Pike and Absecon, I think they need to step up their game for adult use. Since MPX is opened in AC, I go there more. The quality of their cannabis is better, it has a better price point and there’s more choice for the adult user.

You never get to see the product before you buy it …. You can only go by strain reviews when picking the cultivar. No actual bud to look at at the dispensary. The staff is nice but they don’t control the atmosphere or the way they sell the product. I would go back because the Flower is decent.

They are ripping people off. My 3.5G purchase was actually 2.4G. They refused to make it right.

I drove over 40 minutes and arrived at the location at 6:50. As I got out of my car, I am hollered at by the security whether I am medicinal or not, guess HIPPA gets spit on here, and then informed that they ARENT doing recreational sales because they decided to stop sales before their closing time? If this was a regular smoke shop, that’s how it works because you are one in a million. When you are one of the only marijuana dispensaries within an hour for some and gas prices are nearly at $5 a gallon, it is wrong for you to send away a willing customer who just made that trek and to tell them you should have left your home 5 minutes earlier, by the security, is a slap in the face. The security was nasty and condescending, as someone suffering with anxiety(which I imagine many of your customer do) that was definitely and nice experience. I will NEVER GIVE YOU ANY BUSINESS AGAIN. This is an example of what happens when you let corporate weed scum take over the industry. Would rather support my local weed grower/seller than give these people another dime.

Been going here for years. Product quality went down the drain. DO NOT BUY THE TRIM THE QUALITY IS GARBAGE! I try to never buy any of there products label botanist. There the worst, only buy the brands coming from other disp [curaleaf,verano,crops] most people working there know there stuff but quite a few misled me into thinking a product was one way,and good but turned out to be trash block work. It's a shame there the only dispensary in the area.

I hate driving so far but it's worth the drive because you SAVE money...(USE TO) Ever since the legalization, the price increased. I think they changed all the trim to pre-rolls which are now even more expensive than before. The quality of the flower is good. Honestly, it's a hit or miss with the flower quantity. Sometimes you get more sometimes you get a half-empty container. (Which is fine when it was cheaper) They don't offer that many vape options, so you are better off going somewhere else. Atmosphere Review: This location is a 100% different vibe. More like get in get out, nothing like Williamstown. I know before the official legalization they would check your bag and receipt before leaving which was WEIRD. (Trust Issues may I say) I did ask the staff will they continue to check the bags once they sell public and I was told no... (So you don't trust your medical pt but trust everyone else?) Just my thought... Please note I still support this location and hope they do a little better :).

***Please read: Do not buy from the botanist in eht. The products will not get you high. Dont get fooled by the 5 star reviews. They're fake probably made and by the employees. I purchased Robot Girl and Sour Banana Shert. (usually good strains). When I got home..smoked..nothing. Again. I feel ripped off. I could have gotten higher from a cigarette. Wanted my money back but they said they dont refund. The labels are also fake. The percentages are not accurate. I think they should be investigated by the state. Dont waste your money and time and lungs. Vapes are also bad because they take the bad weed and create vaping products. Ill drive out of area to find better bud because its getting worse and worse.

Very poor attitude towards customers. No respect whatsoever. Prices off the charts. Try a dispensary in Colorado or the West coast to get the kind of experience when there is real competition. I hope that there will be competitors to this terrible establishment soon. Very provincial and condescending attitude. Quality is suboptimal. Terrible management.

The staff is very knowledgable courteous, and caring. They want to make sure that you leave with what you need and you can take all the time you need to ask questions and shop. They will make sure your questions are answered and that you leave with what you express that you need. The atmosphere is inviting and professional

I’ve called several times with lots of questions and each question has been answered in great detail. I called again today and spoke with Molly which again answered my numerous questions and pointed me in the right direction. Product is supreme. Would highly recommend. Service is top notch.

I’ve been coming here since January, on the recommendation from a friend. Every visit I’ve made, I’ve had great experiences. We drive a long way since we live in an area of NJ that is literally in the middle of the state, so if I want flower, I have to drive far for it. The Bot in Egg Harbor Township is our closest source for MMJ. The employees have always been very nice and helpful too. I’m no novice by any means, but being able to choose which strains work best for me is awesome. The Blueberry Kush, Chemberrly, OG Kush and Mob Boss are my current go-to strains. I will always be a Botanist customer.

I've always had a great experience at the botanist in a Harbor township. They always have a great variety and they are very informative

GREAT the first trip my fiance and I took. An hour and a half drive after setting my appointment and choosing very carefully what strains I'd try for the first time. We recieved the VIP treatment because I had an appointment! Too bad the rest was terrible! I found 2 grey hairs in 1 of my jars and brought it up to Molly when I was receiving a consultation. (I have bad reactions to certain strains and they have some bred for them only) and she was sweet enough to tell me she'd have the manager Maggie look into it. While I was talking to Molly we discovered that one of the strains I had in my order had given Molly a bad reaction with her anxiety, which I also have, and she told me when I picked up my order the next day(Aug 8) there would be a note not to include it. So we take the almost 2hr drive and get in the online appointment section. An employee named Chris Watkins was arrogant, condescending and argumentative when we informed him the strain was to be removed from the order per Molly. A Gentleman named AJ brought my order out. He was very respectful and directed us how we could purchase a replacement for the strain we had removed. We went through the pick up line with no problems. Unfortunately on our drive home I found additional white hairs stuck to the outside of the label of a completely DIFFERENT strain. I emailed Molly with pictures and explained our experience at their facility and she said Maggie would look into it and reach out Now almost a MONTH later, and multiple attempts on my behalf to try to get contacted by Maggie without receiving even an Email as a reply I am going to social media platforms, to let the public know how they handle customer care.

The products are genuinely horrible and i would even say misleading... none of the medicine ive ever purchased has been relatively close to the terpene profile of whatever strain its supposed to be because of improper growing techniques. Ill never understand why patients brag about the botanists shake... the reason why there are "buds" in the shake is because they werent fit to package normally so you think youre getting a deal or good product, but in reality youre getting the lowest possible quality product available.

It is close to where I live but I would drive here no matter what Their system is workable and wait times are neglable The bud tenders are knowledgeable and friendly

They've increased their selection of vape oil lately by bringing in other companies products. Love having a decent selection to choose from.
