If there was literally a way to give 0 stars I would. If it weren’t to warn others- I wouldn’t even waste my energy on this review. This is no longer anything that even resembles the Timberland we’ve all come to know and love and it’s entirely because of the service not the product.
I cannot even wrap my head around the level of disorganization and just plain incompetence I stumbled upon tonight. I went in to purchase an ounce, of which I was able to get ONE single eighth because “they were out” of everything apparently, which never used to happen before but anyways, I digress. While cashing out, this person came in that had never visited before (not wearing their mask nor EVER being asked to but we’ll leave that right alone) and asked if there was any discounts for first time customers to which he received a very boisterous “of course”. Hmm... okay, that seems strange that the last time I visited I was a first time customer of theirs and they had no problem taking my money for my full price order then... so I proceed to ask about the discount card to the gentleman. He does nothing but fumble over his words while she’s saying “we’ll accept what you already have!!” Okay, not what I asked but thank you I guess. So I clarified to him that I had used my card previously but was inquiring with today’s purchase if I would be receiving another one... apparently he “has no idea where they are” so the answer to that would be no. Apparently they will only honor what you already have but moving forward might know where the cards are? Maybe? If your lucky and remember to ask? I could go on about the rest of the train wreck adventure but I’ll leave it at this...
As a business it is NOT MY JOB to tell you, help you, or show you how to do YOUR job. It is my job to know everything about my job and your job to know everything about your job. It’s really that simple and these folks are just simply missing every single opportunity to be good at their job.
