Token Herb - Recreational

I love walking into this place! So nice and clean - not creepy and dingy like so many off island places. There is always something new to try and a great variety from all over Washington. Sean doesn't carry anything he can't personally endorse so I know the product will certainly meet MY expectations. The best part about this pot shop - they care that I have a great pot experience. They don't just want to sell me something - they want me to enjoy my purchase and come back and tell them what I thought about it. Can't say how much I love this place. Any pot lover visiting Orcas should definitely swing in here and meet Sean and the crew. Wide variety of products including local NWC which used to be my favorite - but I'm personally hooked on Noble or DNA gardens now. Thanks Sean and Token Herb for the clean, friendly and knowledgeable service you provide to our happy little community! Hope to be a patron for years to come!

Not easy to get to and the only store to serve ALL island(er)s, their guests and tourists... A 30 minute drive from Ferry Dock and tucked in the corner of a Gas & Sip, sits Token Herb. Though I have my favorite dispensaries I haunt when off-island, I ONLY go to Token Herb when left with no choice. Rarely I find a variety large enough for choice. They typically carry a favorite local grower, NW Connoisseur (A favorite) but I buy off-island at considerably less $$$ in a less defensive space. Not a lot is represented and. When and if you ask why, and I do, the reply is ALWAYS, "waiting for more stock". Like Godot...I'm still waiting. This review is written after giving these folks a year to pull it together...not sure why they have the business?! Large store, low stock, little variety and a understandably defensive staff...what's the skinny with this place. Feels dark and shameful in there...incongruent space in place.

Fairly central location for people on all parts of the island. The stock rotates regularly, with a good variety of small edibles, elixirs, flower, along with shatter/wax/Local pressed kief, as well as pen ready oils, Much of the top shelf available comes from the on island growers NW- Connoisseurs, who grow many excellent strains but I was particularly enamored by their Blackberry Kush this summer. Other farms and distributor labels are available, but it's hard to beat fresh and local, so the NW-Connoisseurs stock often sells out. Sean, the general manager/show runner is usually behind the counter and is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, as is the rest of the Token Herb staff. The wall map pinboard is a fun touch for those just passing through.

Cool staff and great selection. Prices went down and aren't higher than off island. I'm into dabs and glad to see the variety :)
