“We want to offer customers more choice,” says Alex Gould, co-founder and CEO of Every Day Optimal. “We are currently expanding our gummy line substantially to give our community more options, and in some ways healthier options. We are releasing a sugar free gummy, a vegan gummy, a broad-spectrum gummy, and also updating our classic gummy bear shape to something more grown up.”
In short, Gould and his team think it’s time for CBD edibles to step up and evolve. Part of that, Gould says, is due to regulations around cannabis products that Every Day Optimal expects will eventually apply to CBD gummies as well. As states like California and Washington look to crack down on gummies and other cannabis edibles that could be seen as appealing to children, Every Day Optimal will phase out their traditional gummy bear shapes—which many folks associate with candy—in favor of more abstracted forms.
“Our CBD gummies are extremely popular with consumers, and we don’t expect to change that successful formula,” Gould says. “But we’re doing our best to be proactive when it comes to these products, and we always want to be clear that these products are only ever meant for adult consumption.”

CBD Gummies Tomorrow
While the recipe for Every Day Optimal’s classic CBD gummies won’t change, their team is working on new formulations that will make the product accessible to more people, such as the vegan formulation that’s suitable for CBD consumers with no appetite for animal by-products.
That’s not the only addition Every Day Optimal plans to make to their CBD gummies. They also expect to introduce a new line of CBD gummies containing broad-spectrum CBD oil, rather than CBD isolate products.
“The broad spectrum line is something that we are very excited about.
