Smoking a joint= mega-headache, tight jaw, and tight neck muscles. Tension headaches are awful and that is what it felt like. Using a one hitter and smoking it throughout a busy day = zoned out but able to focus and be productive. Did a lot of yard work, hit 15,000 steps, and powered through back and knee pain, as well as facial nerve pain. And no headache. It definitely tastes like blueberries, is an enjoyable smoke (in smaller quantities for me), and does give a relaxed and almost tingly feeling. But you need to just relax and enjoy that feeling (before bed for instance) vs. working your butt off doing housework.

Great for: being in nature, trying to get things done, being creative and engaged in every moment, and fantastic for my pain relief, depression, and anxiety. I'm fairly new to using medical cannabis. I tried Bear Dance because of two reviews: 1. they described it using words like "positive emotions" and 2. "makes for a great hike". I am extremely glad I did. For me, the high is practically psychedelic sans any type of hallucination. Everything is intensified, I don't understand the concept of depression when using this strain, I found my appetite for life again after a couple of hits, my creativity skyrockets (you NEED to write down your thoughts and ideas when you use Dancing Bear), colors made me emotional, and I slow down and finally enjoy each moment, one-by-one.

When I have an above average experience anywhere, I take the time to write a review! The dispensary and the staff, particularly Courtney, well-exceeded my expectations and made my first visit completely perfect. They are the reason I am willing to drive 40 minutes vs. a much shorter distance to get my medical cannabis. Courtney, and the rest of the staff, have so much knowledge and understanding of medical cannabis. I requested a patient consult because at first, I didn't feel particularly confident in my ability to choose the right cannabis products for myself. Every question I asked was answered. Courtney sat with me and explained so much to me and eased my mind--there is a LOT to know about cannabis and all of the parts of the plant, terpines, strains, etc. I never once felt "stupid" or like I was wasting her time. Her compassion, personal experiences, and knowledge are what will keep me driving all the way to Fulton to get my medicine. Choose The Dispensary Fulton--you will not be disappointed! Other important things to note: They have a great selection of various strains and if they don't have a specific one, they can probably recommend something similar. From the time I walked in the door until I left, I experienced warm, friendly, laid-back staff that made me feel comfortable and welcome. (Better than many doctor's office and pharmacies I have been too!) The Dispensary is beautiful--clean, comfortable, secure, and LEGIT! I appreciated being able to talk in private about my conditions and the reasons in which I am using cannabis as medicine. I felt respected and that is an enormously important thing for me. I have had many medical experiences in which I felt disrespected and even GUILTY for taking medications that were being prescribed to me. If you have your IL medical cannabis card and you have had negative experiences in the past with the "medical world", you are going to enjoy the change that you will experience here!
