Northern Lights

A classic from my childhood! Ok, not childhood but like 20's out in Eugene, OR. This was THE strain the indoor growers were growing and the energy coming off those resin glands was mesmerizing! GREAT strain for hash-making as you get really sticky and resinous buds. Bud structure isn't crazy indica like the description says, you'll get a bit of branching. I'm maybe not as smart as these clowns writing this website but I thought a pure indica was like Afghani, which just wants to grow UP in one straight bud even when you try to prune it? Oh, well, we can't all be Ed Rosenthal. Who would want to anyway he sounds like a miserable sob? Sorry if this is like a judgement-free zone or something, and Ed's lawyers--if you're reading this--don't sue me for defamation please? I'm just a little guy trying to raise three kids and a dog while my wife is out running around. It's like a soap opera..oh wait this is the wrong website for this sorry.

Granddaddy Purple

Maybe it's just cuz I loved my Grandfather so much, or maybe it's cuz purple is my favorite color but I love this strain! Fruity like grapes with a little skunkiness and all your usual indica --wait, can you believe that Leafly doesn't have "indica" in their spell-check dictionary? Developers? Webmaster? There's a dark conspiracy here, spell check does not like this word indica. I love indicas almost as much as I love sativas! Actually I love both of them, I ain't too picky--just hook me up to an IV with a slow THC drip and I do just fine. No, seriously Granddaddy P is the bee's knees, I have Purple Trainwreck in my mommy room--but the name sucks, it's like Prince and Lindsay Lohan had a baby.

GSC

Meh? Everyone raves about this strain but the buds I got were leafy and nothing special. Also got a fair amount of distillate from my homies at Greener Medical in Bangor, ME and made it into e-juice. Now, they have concentrates there by fractal distillation that will freeze half of your face instantly, and pretty much ANY bud they make into distillate is exquisite and would be perfect for cancer patients cuz it's like RSO except that it looks incredibly clear and not like toxic waste from an oil refinery. I'm down with the sweet and almost custardy flavors of this strain, and I have a cross with Jamaican Purple Skunk that looks promising, just haven't come across decent bud yet.

Green Crack

Hate the name, but yields are very good--thinking I have the Indica-dominant variety. Tight nugs, fruity and flowery. Sometime when I'm not so lazy I'll learn all the names of the terps and then describe it by terpenoid---nah that won't work since I'm ALWAYS lazy. EXCEPT when vaporizing green crack. Never actually made or sampled extracts so can't say anything about those. You know what they say "once you go crack, you never go back".

Sour Diesel

One of my favorite strains, both for its sativatation and smellitude. The fragrance of cured flowers is very nice and hashy, if you like that oily hash pungency that smells somewhat like petroleum distillates hence the name. Since I haven't said "hash" enough I must also note that this strain makes excellent extracts/hash/oil whatever language your state permits..uhhh dabs I think is universally accepted I dunno, maybe I should read the faq? So ya lotsa resin with this one. If you grow your own you'll be pleased that the yields are better than a lot of sativas, the buds are nice and tight but like any plant with a sativa phenomagiggy make sure she gets tons of light and don't let 'em veg too long. Bless!
