The fact some of yall are vaping distillate of a semi synthetic cannabinoid and trying to do a strain review is absolutely mind-boggling. Listen. Distillate, like 90 percent of carts, are not real. Putting terpenes back into it doesn't fix the minor cannabinoids and the lower boiling point terpenes you've stripped from it to make it that potent. If youre not using flower, live rosin, or at the very least AUTHENTIC live resin (there are dispos calling shit live when they are adding terps) then please do NOT leave a review, as you're not even using the actual product. That's it. That's the review cause im sure everyone knows what OG Kush is.

The thing that stands out about this strain, at least in live rosin form, is the taste. Its like a skunky citrus. That's the best way incandescent describe it. Cointreau Kush would be a great alternate name that describes it accurately. The high is by no means second-rate, but its the second thing you'll notice, cause the taste is indescribable (I tried my best to describe it) its a very GSC-type, Gelatoesque high, if that makes sense, which it should if you've ever smoked real Forum Cut or authentic Sherbinskis. I will be repurchasing, which is rare in this age of access.

I will preface this by stating it does no good to read a review that doesn't include either the grower or distributor, and the state/province it was obtained from. This is vital information. I've smoked this strain before in flower form and it was meh, and this was NOT the case with the live resin I just dabbed. Ironically they both came from the same chain albeit 500mi apart, Lume Cannabis, in the state of Michigan (say what you will about them, but in the western UP they are often the only good option). The meh flower was their in house grown stuff. The live res was Fresh Canna. I dab everyday and it's rare a dab will lift me up like this one did. Highly recommend, it has a tangerine-like taste with some garlic on the exhale. Perfect for the stress-reliever smoke such as after a tough day. Uhhhhh? Yeah so just like most of the reviews, I agree that this hits you fast and hard, and i dab a gram a day. Wow. Im kinda surprised. Id put the intensity up there with Durban no joke. The actual feeling is put somewhere in the middle like a GSC. but damn. GSC dont work THIS fast. Wow. Just Wow. Tasted like weed lol.

Not me trying yet ANOTHER so called blue dream cross hoping to rediscover the lost pheno of Blue Dream I remember, before legalization (in Michigan anyway). You know the one. Circa 2008ish. It definitely doesnt smell or taste like it used to, at least not MOST companies', which I attribute to genetics being lost or crossed into new strains, sometimes confusingly without a new strain name. And thats what I think happened to the Blue Dream I remember. However.....this (a very cheap cured resin from an MI company called Glacier) is as close as I've found in the past decade. Assuming there are no terpenes added, I'd say this was a successful back breeding to keep the Blue Dream heritage alive.

This isn't my first review. I've been in a legal state for several years now. But this was the first non prohibition flower I ever bought. I remember opening the jar and being blown away by the way it smelled like grape soda. The brand that grew it would only go on to limited success, championing some proprietary strain, but had they focused on this strain I feel like they would have been in direct competition with doja pack n other contemporary pre-pack brands. I feel like I been chasing a high I haven't felt since that first jar, because I can't find anything close to as good. Closest I've come is Pyramid Sauce but I can't even find that anymore. I'm sure every one is good but in particular Superior Selections in the UP for flower and Pyramid for concentrate, I feel like they are on another level of cannabis.

This review is going to apply mainly to heavy smokers, like 1g a day of live resin. Mostly because my tolerance is so high I couldn't give an accurate description to a light smoker. I think an underrated and often overlooked medical benefit is the short-term memory loss associated with some strains. Sometimes you just wanna forget the recent past. Bad day at work? This is perfect for that. I got this on a recommendation from the bud tender. I went to grab to 3.5g jars of mango cookies live res. They were closeout so they weren't coming back. He told me they had one more of his favorite, the watermelon mimosa. I took a chance cause I don't care much for zkittles but I like it. Slight watermelon taste. I can see why they named it that.
