Five stars, when other dispensaries are getting the same, doesn't seem high enough for this locale. I've been to the hugely popular dispensaries and they can't hold a candle to this place. The proprietor, Jarod, toured me around. The place is big and full of beautiful aged hardwood. That's just the waiting area where everybody, not just those with a card, can wait. The next room is where patients are welcomed by an array of computers to use to select their order. Calling ahead, they can even have your order ready. The menu is complete, discounts for numerous conditions are given, the proprietor and front end are people cool to know, the place is very conveniently located in Elmwood Park, and the physical facility itself is a 10.

I had it as a wax produced by PTS at around about 67% total THC. The name suits the taste perfectly. There's a nice taste on the inhale and a really sweet, skunky, fruity taste on the exhale. This wax didn't lay me out, but it was strong. And, unlike some other wax being sold in Illinois dispensaries, this wax by PTS is moist, unlike that dry crumbly stuff. It's therefore easier to work with. The glass jar it comes in is an improvement over plastic.

I am not the biggest fan of Glass Slipper, though it did leave me the first time with enough enjoyment to buy it a second time. Not a third time, however. Buds were odd in their appearance and lack of mass. Effects were definitely those of a sativa, not an indica, though I did not find the cerebral or visual effects truly remarkable, as others have reported. Very good, but not great.

My one reservation amongst many compliments for Durban Poison is the taste and effect on the back of my throat. To me, it is not what I would call without bite. The effects for me were a rapid onset of a surprisingly high high which was in fact stimulating and motivating.The batch I got part of, by GTI, was 22.16% total THC. It's a bit rainy outside, but it makes me feel like getting out to the woods for a walk and perhaps glimpse of some wildlife. :)

Knocks out stress was correct for me as I got a BHO at about 74%. Each deep toke off my Evolve vaporizer took hold of me completely as I held it in for the count. Taste is grape to me on the draw and in my throat as I'm holding the hit and then fruity on the exhale. Each hit at this percentage made me feel very warm all over!

I prepared a bit less than three grams and ate it in a breakfast dish today about 7:00 am and it's now 3:00 pm my time and I'm still tripping balls. I have been only occasionally topping off my buzz with some tokes. My batch was 24.83% total THC. FYI website does not allow consumption method of cannabis to be listed as "Eaten"

Outstanding efforts and results on all levels at this dispensary. I have communicated in depth with four dispensaries in Illinois and Earthmed is singular in voluntarily providing compassionate care. American veterans and those that earn less because of age or infirmity are specifically welcomed with a very generous discount. Not only has Earthmed to my knowledge pioneered these discounts in medical cannabis in Illinois, but they remain the sole provider. One must congratulate them on this, amazing staff I adore, and a superlative constant supply of the full range of available cannabis products.
