Form: Flower smoked from a freshly cleaned bong. THC and terp info=none. My husband works in a grow room, and this flower was given out as a free employee sample. The nugs are, as my husband said, "beautiful" : dense, sticky, and dark green. There are some orange hairs and a nice layer of keef. The smell is both strong and refreshing with hints of blueberry. The taste is exactly like the name implies - delicious hints of tropical fruit. As far as effects- I've smoked about two bowls, and I'm starting to feel a very relaxing body and head high coming on. I'm a daily stoner with a high tolerance, so that means that this flower is strong AF. The only negative effect is that it causes dry mouth and coughing. I sip ice water before taking bong rips. It's a good way to stop coughing, but it didn't help any with this strain. Overall, I'd say Tropical Smoothie is a great strain, and I'd definitely buy it.

Got a 1/2 of The Soap by Plant Nerds at Sunset Coast Cannabis in Cassopolis, Michigan today and smoked it through a freshly cleaned bong for this review. It says it's 27.8% THC. The buds are dense, medium green with many orange hairs and a layer of tricomes. As far as smell and taste go, the name "Soap" is very appropriate. It has an unusual floral smell (that's VERY loud) and taste with a slight, but very distinctive "soapy" aftertaste/smell. The taste isn't "bad" but it's my least favorite as far as weed "flavors" though. As far as effects go, although this strain is Sativa leaning, the Sativa effects are not overwhelming. I'm definitely feeling a head high, but I'm also very relaxed. I'd say that the Soap is a good afternoon/evening strain. The only negative effect is cotton mouth. I highly recommend having ice water nearby. The Soap is not one of my favorite strains, but I'd consider buying it again.

I'd like to start this review by saying my husband grows weed for a living, and one of the perks is that his company gives their employees free weed. The bags do not have anything other than the strain name on them, so I don't have any info about THC % or terpenes (It is not listed on their website yet either). I am a daily smoker with a very high tolerance, and this Gary Payton has me feeling high as f-ck right now! This is definitely one of my new favorite strains! 100% top shelf all the way. The nugs are sticky and dense. They are dark green with some orange hairs and a light layer of kief visible. The smell is peppery and VERY STRONG. I highly recommend that you invest in strong patchouli incense or a good air freshener spray with this one. As far as effects go, I've smoked about two bowls, and I feel happy and relaxed, and a floaty head high feeling is starting to creep in as I'm typing this. I can feel dry eye setting in a bit. I am not experiencing any paranoia or munchies so far. I suffer from Bipolar 1 (aka manic depression), anxiety, and PTSD, and I think that Gary Payton will help me treat all of them.

Got an ounce of this (spelled Gelatoz, but I think it's the same) in Michigan today. It says 27.26% THC with a test date of 2/1/25. The buds are dark green, dense, and grind up into a fluffy but sticky bud that's easy to roll or pack a bowl with. I also see orange hairs and a light coating of kief. Out of the bag, its smell is strong and fruity. As far as smoking goes, I smoked it out of a freshly cleaned waterpipe. The taste is sweet and very pleasant. I do recommend having incense/strong air freshener spray available when you smoke it if you live in an apartment. As far as effects go, I'm very happy and relaxed, but not couchlocked. I'm sitting on my couch watching Jerry Springer clips right now, but I'd be equally happy to get out and do something. Moderate munchies. I have bipolar one/manic depression, anxiety, and PTSD. I truly feel this strain is helping me with all of that. I don't have any paranoia. The only negative is slight dry mouth and cough, but I have an awesome knock-off Stanley full of ice-cold water to deal with that. The secret to coughing less is to take a sip of water before you rip the bong. Sip before you rip, as Cewpins says.

My husband works in a weed grow room/dispensary, and the best perk of the job is they hand out FREE OUNCES of top shelf bud once a month. Today we got "Cap Junky". Because it is labeled as a "Trade sample" bag, there is no THC % on the label, but it is 100% top shelf bud. The buds are dense, light green in color and have MANY orange hairs and a very nice coat of tricomes. The flavor is slightly fruity with a hint of pepper. The smell is LOUD and "skunky". Be careful when smoking this one if you are in an area where weed is illegal, that's for sure! As far as effects go, I'm bipolar 1/manic depressive and have anxiety and PTSD. I find Cap Junky to be extremely relaxing. I'm melting into the couch. Also, I work in healthcare, so my leg muscles are often sore at night. That soreness is gone now. There is no paranoia or racing thoughts. I was in a bad mood earlier (I have worked 5 days in a row already and will work for the next two, including Thanksgiving!), but now I am very happy and content. As far as negatives go, I feel a bit of dry eye and cotton mouth. No noticeable munchies so far. I think Cap Junky is one of my new top favorite strains.

I have reviewed this strain before, but I could only find it in a concentrate form. My husband works at a dispensary in MI, and yesterday, he brought home a 1/2 ounce of Wedding Cake, grown in house at the dispensary. The bag said it tested at 27%, and I believe it! Large, dense, light green buds with a ton of red hair and a THICK coat of kief. I'm serious, this strain is a f-cking kief machine! My grinder is CAKED in it every time I grind! The smell is earthy, fresh, and STRONG! I'm a nightly smoker, and I often vape and dab too. I suffer from Bipolar 1(Manic Depression), PTSD, and anxiety. Marijuana is currently my only medication (working wonderfully, too!). As far as effects go, Wedding Cake has me feeling EXTREMELY relaxed and very high, yet not totally couchlocked. I have no paranoia, and I feel very happy. I have a slight case of the munchies as well. The only negative thing is that my eyes are starting to feel dry. I'd say that wedding cake is a good strain for the evening/nighttime or a lazy, rainy weekend watching movies. I will be buying this strain again!

Form- flower smoked from a fleshly cleaned glass bong. I got an ounce of small buds of SVF Cookies testing at 28% THC today. The buds are dense, sticky, and dark green with some red hairs. The scent is a STRONG piney one, and the taste is earthy and just a tad spicy. I am a daily smoker/dabber/vaper, and I never buy any flower under 23% THC, so I have a very high tolerance. SFV cookies is an A+ strain in my book. I took 4 hits from my bong, and I'm definitely feeling high. The high is extremely relaxing, and I'm feel couchlock creep in, but I'm not super sleepy. I use weed to treat my bipolar 1 (manic depression) and PTSD. There is no paranoia or anxiety. It's starting to give me the munchies. The only negative is that it is giving me dry mouth and making me cough like I took a hot dab, but the high is 100% WORTH IT! Just make sure you have ice water and tissues available. I believe SFV cookies are best as an evening/nightime/lazy Saturday watching movies strain. I highly ;-) recommend SFV cookies.

I have never been to this dispensary, but I got a version of this strain and wanted to review it. Sadly, leafly does not list this amazing strain yet. It is 27% THC. It is an Indica dominate hybrid and it's parent strains are Do-si-do and Headbanger. This strain is also known as "CookieBanger". The buds are dense, medium green with visible red hairs and a light covering of tricomes. It has a very pungent, gassy smell. You'll definitely want incense or a spray air frensher at hand when you smoke this. I smoked it from a freshly cleaned bong. The taste is earthy and slightly sweet. As for the effects, I am a daily stoner with a VERY high tolerance. I never smoke anything less than 25% THC, and often vape and dab 90% THC products. Take my word for it when I saw this flower is AWESOME. I have bipolar 1/manic depression and PTSD. This strain is helping to keep my calm and very relaxed, but I am also in a very good mood. After two bowls, I am starting to feel giggly, couchlocked, and a bit hungry. This is definitely an evening/"lazy Saturday on the couch watching a Cheech and Chong marathon" strain. Cookiehead/Cookiebanger is a new favorite strain of mine. You won't regret picking this strain up when you find it!

Form- Flower smoked from a clean bong, 26% THC. Got an ounce of Pre-98 Bubba today. The buds in my ounce are on the small side but are dark green with red hairs and a nice dusting of tricomes. The smell is dank and pungent. I recommend burning incense AND using a STRONG spray odor eliminator if you live in an illegal area. The best word I have to describe the taste is lightly roasted coffee, which I like. As for the effects, this one is definitely an Indica! I have bipolar 1/manic depression, PTSD, and anxiety. I use Indicas to help me sleep and keep my mood calm and relaxed. Pre 98 Bubba is doing that well. I am a daily stoner with a sky-high tolerance, and this bud has me flying. I'm couchlocked. There is no paranoia, but my eyes are dry and red. Pre 98 Bubba is a new favorite strain, that's for sure!

WOW! I got an ounce of this from my favorite Michigan dispo today. They said it's 27% THC. The buds are dense, medium green, with red hairs peeking through. All of this is covered by a dusting of keef. The smell is fruity and pungent. The taste is exactly like the name says - delicious mango with a hunt of mint. As for the effects- I'll start by saying I'm a daily stoner who often dabs and vapes, and I never buy any bud less than 22%, so my tolerance is high. At 1.5 bowls in, I felt buzzed and energetic. I got up, deep cleaned my kitchen counter, cleaned the stove, swept, and mopped the kitchen. After that, I swept and mopped the bathroom floor, too. I can definitely feel Mango Mintality's sativa side giving me motivation and energy, but there is no paranoia or racing thoughts. Now that I have sat back down on the couch and finished the second bowl, I'm starting to notice a slight indica-like couch lock, and I'm starting to feel SUPER high and very relaxed and happy. I LOVE this strain and will gladly buy it again. As for medical effects, I have bipolar 1/manic depression, anxiety, and PTSD. I definitely think Mango Mintality is a good choice for treatment of depression and fatigue.
