Maribis Springfield is the best dispensary for a good 100-mile radius. The fact that Maribis (Springfield & Chicago) put patients before an immediate payday (I'm looking at you & your one line for med & rec, HCI) is significant and sparks loyalty from me. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful, and I've never walked out of Maribis feeling ripped off. Maribis is a for-profit business that does an outstanding job of balancing client needs & well-being with profit. I'm glad they're in Springfield, and it's the only dispensary I will frequent here.

Great deals and nice atmosphere with a good selection, but the staff are kind of hit or miss. The manager is just great on every level, and the staff who are good are REALLY good, and a few who cost a star rating. I’d absolutely recommend The Dispensary, but would probably caution a novice to bring along a more knowledgeable friend just in case.

It’s a good shop, but prices are high compared to others nearby. Freebies are minimal, with loyalty rewards being their thing. It’s a very clean, very pleasant atmosphere, with probably the most knowledgeable staff of any dispensary I’ve been to in Illinois. The selection is outstanding. If it’s worth a visit just for the enjoyable experience.

Online menu is rarely accurate, and prices are currently going up while selection goes down. Staff are hit or miss. Some are really exceptional, some have minimal product knowledge at best, and one is a rude little boy. After about 20 very local trips to HCI, I started visiting other regional dispensaries, and am glad I did. I've saved a ton of money (even driving many more miles) and had access to items I could not purchase at HCI.
