Love this place, they have some of the most interesting, unique and overall excellent strains around. Best recreational prices that I've found in NE Portland for bud of this quality. They always recommend the exact right strain for me too, it's like they can read minds or something. Really nice crew of people who work here - highly recommended!

This strain has a pretty unique and reliable arc, and it really works for me at certain times. It starts out racy and can really provide a lot of energy. If you keep smoking throughout the day, or let it just wind down, it ends up in a really relaxed and sleepy feeling. Mixes well with indica too, you need help chilling out afterward. And that smell and taste, wow.

This has to be an all-time-great strain. Been picking it up for months at various places around Portland, different growers, different batches... great every damn time. If you use it sparingly (once every couple days), it can be incredibly euphoric, with feel-good vibes and visuals that hit deeply even for seasoned smokers.

This is easily my favorite shop in Vancouver. I live in Portland (where there are many, many options) but I still make the drive to H.E.M.P. because it really feels like the ideal recreational shop to me. Very cozy. Great herb. Nice owners. Prices are a touch higher than some of the nearby competition, but they only have the nicest quality bud here. Good selection of edibles, concentrates, and glass for a small shop.

Okay, the people are really nice here, they gave me a free pipe on my first visit, and the atmosphere is great with a little record player action... but I got some low quality flower here for a top-shelf price... not really sure what happened there as I was expecting more. Guess I'd blame myself for not looking closer at the trim on the buds... but they did enough to deserve another visit and an update of this review.

This is my go-to shop. They do a great job carrying only top-notch flowers... I'm pretty picky and have never been disappointed here. It's a nice big, comfortable environment, it's well-organized, and the budtenders are real pros. Great prices on quarters. Also my favorite Mexican seafood place is next door, so... good location too!

Really nice little shop, conveniently located, the people are super nice and they have an excellent range of products. They always have some good bud deals on the cheaper end, along with some really nice top-shelf flowers. The only drawbacks are that it can get a little crowded, and the walls are really white in there... needs some better ambience.

This is my favorite strain, I keep going back to it. After 15 years of daily use, this is the only one that still does it for me every time!! One or two hits is enough, usually. I generally love all hazes, as they just seem to work the best with my personal chemical makeup. But this pickup from Life Gardens (WA) has got me right where I want to be. I'm sitting here doing complicated computer work effectively – while totally on another plane, in my fuzzy, happy brain.
