Let me preface by saying I am a major light weight these days (though I used to be a HEAVY smoker). When I smelled Mt. Hood Magic, it took me back to one of the best buds I've ever come across in my youth. When I saw the stats for this particular batch testing in at over 30%, I knew I had to give it a try. With one tiny puff I was completely content! The medicine was a perfectly balanced blend of it's Indica/Sativa lineage. While I did not entirely feel like getting up and going for a run or doing chores, I did feel like getting busy with my instrumental practice. I played music for over two hours and it felt like ten minutes! The insights and spontaneous creative swings were wonderful. This is a spectacular bud and gave me the most perfect blend of body/mind/emotional buzz. With how potent this particular crop was, the amount of smoke I need to take in is far less than harsh than any vaporizer I've ever used. It's like a couple nodes from a bud and maybe a little leaf and I'm right where I want to be. A gram should last me a couple months! Stoked to have found this good medicine!

I love going to this place. The people are great, the quality is excellent, and I just feel good when I walk into the shop. They've done a stellar job of creating of clean feel to the store. If you are sensitive to other's energy, and to the energy of an environment, this is where I would recommend going. Their feng shui must be spot on, as I always have a great experience when I stop by here. I can't say that for all of the shops in town, but I love visiting High Grade Organics. Prices are fair and their selection is wonderful. Staff is very helpful--I don't assume I know much about this world of cannabis, and I find some people really give out gems when I humbly ask 'newbie' questions. They don't condescend at all and seem genuinely interested in helping me out. I love these folks!

These folks are fantastic and their commitment to local quality is phenomenal! If you're a fan of the truly local movement, there's nowhere else to go. They apologized on a recent visit because they had very little selection that came from Bend. Their main options were from Eugene and Portland. That's local commitment! Flower is great, like nearly every place in town. Know your dollar is staying home when shopping here.

There are shops that have a better location, better parking and better ambiance, but there is nowhere that can claim to have higher quality cannabis. Their top self medicine is so spectacular, it is almost necessary to put them in a separate category. In all seriousness, every shop has good flowers, otherwise they'd be out of business. 5th lmnt stands out as one of the only places that is worth mentioning specifically for their out-of this-world quality. In a market where nearly everything is good to great, these guys have the 'wow factor.' I used to choose other stores based on location and atmosphere, because why not, when all else is equal. Now I'll chose 5th lmnt when I'm looking for the best Bend has to offer, hands down, without question. The folks here are super friendly, too. Oh, and did I mention that their bud is stellar beyond anything I can compare it to? Well, I should have if I didn't because it's that good! Pricey? Yes. Let's be honest and admit that this is a market issue, because if you have the best in town, then you can charge top rate. That's just good business. If you want what you pay for, give them a visit. If it's too much, their average priced options are just as good as all the other average priced shops in town. You just have the option to go above and beyond (no pun intended) here.
